Honestly, the order that you watch the characters in isn't super important. Having said that though, here's a bit of a guide to help you along if needed:

For lore and wider worldbuilding-

Ellis, Cyril, Roman (also the 2 lore videos lol)

For characters that can stand alone without knowing much lore-

Casey, Gage, Dion (honestly quite a few of them but those are probably the most "stand alone" ones)

Characters whose stories intertwine + recommended watch order for them

Ellis, Cyril, Roman, Jacob, Nathaniel

Gage, Neo, Law, Desmond (order not really important for these ones)

Dion, Kane

Law, Marlowe, Axel (Each can probably stand on their own though, honestly)

And if you're just looking for specific vibes-

Axel - Essence eater who leans more into the incubus side of things than the vampire side, flirtatious, antagonizes to show affection, hostile-acquaintances-with-benefits (like Marlowe, it might be easier to watch Law first, but not 100% necessary)

Casey - Plant-dad, easily spooked like a small animal, Flustered™, friends to lovers, very soft

Cyril - Elven researcher, academic rivals, Tsundere™, the smartest idiot you'll ever meet, emotionally repressed

Desmond - Dragon-shifter, slow and methodical, a bit rigid until he gets comfortable, rough past that he's still healing from

Dion - Flame demon, chaos incarnate, impromptu roommate, boyish charm?

Ellis - Nonbinary book nerd who runs a magical book shop, teasing but gentle, overall soft

Gage - Boy next door + local hellion vibes, domestic and soft but high energy

Jacob - More demons (metaphorical and literal), smooth-talking yandere with a strong emphasis on manipulation and gaslighting- tw heavy

Kane - Flame demon, stoic, confident, intrigue and political turmoil but also he's just vibing, best to watch Dion first

Law - Southern, single dad, soft and sweet with some angst/action sprinkled in, healer with an essence eater listener

Marlowe - Brooding, "too tired for this", detective/suspect, essence eater, might want to watch Law's first to get a better idea of how they work (but not 100% necessary)

Nathaniel - "Mad scientist who loves what he does a little too much" vibes, vaguely yandere-ish but also not technically, tw heavy

Neo - Fox-shifter, pining makes idiots of us all, tries to be cool and serious but fails spectacularly, not quite tsundere but close, overall soft

Roman - Vaguely British accent, time traveler, a bit chaotic, mix of angst, adventure, and soft

Hopefully this is helpful and doesn't just make everything even more confusing lmao

i’ve been trying for 5-EVER to come up with a solid design for Desmond and this is all I could come up with. Him and law have got me STRESSIN with their concept designs and i’m still not even entirely satisfied with it. worse case scenario I just use this design for another character, but here are my contributions to Desmond. Stay yearning king.

So would flame demons be more resistant to an average winter, (because inner flame,) or less resistant to winter? (because their homeland is naturally hot) (Or any similar reasons)

It could really go either way! I could imagine them being pretty physically resistant to (manageable, not -40° lol) cold. Where their bodies would be able to withstand a decent amount of cold, but mentally they're so used to milder/warmer/drier weather that they turn into wet cats when the temperature drops lol

I could also see them being sensitive to the cold (especially the damp), and those with weaker constitutions being especially susceptible to it!

I couldn’t quite make out the word in the audio— before they kissed, did Kane call the listener “Serva” or “Vasserva”?

He calls them Vasserva! He's just kinda mumbling it lol

i literally just googled “vaserva vs serva meaning” after reading that one ask. your content has taken over my brain.

anyway, have you said what is means yet? because i do actually want to know, if that’s not information we can know (yet) that’s fine i’m just curious :)

Lmao honestly I've almost done similar to that a few times myself when sleep deprived and writing

Serva has only been defined briefly/in passing, and it pretty much means "my love"

A specific definition hasn't been given (yet) for Vasserva, but it will be given soon! What has been said so far is that:

-It has a double meaning depending on the context

-One of the of the meanings is a term of affection (of sorts)

-Dion was genuinely bothered at first when Kane started calling their Listener Vasserva

-It's been vaguely implied that there's not really a word in Bunny/Vasserva's vocabulary that it can be directly translated to

Va’eral (i tried, hope i spelled it right) is just a guy, just a guy who has probably killed thousands but hey, love that guy

i’m gonna go ahead and preemptively say that Dion was valid for that crashout, don’t know the context yet but shit man

lastly, i WISH i could somehow show the voice recordings i have of me losing my shit over the audio man. there’s four and i was a babbling mess because OMG

anyway!!! if you couldn’t tell, i fucking adored the audio, it was amazing. the map and calendar elements were awesome additions and i just overall loved it (give me shit with a map and imma eat it up), also Va’eral snapping Kane and Vasserva/Bunny across the way was great, thx for that friend <3

Hihiiii ! So, my friend is too shy to ask, but we had an idea I wanted to ask about ! Another artist similar to you that I follow have a timeline that links all of the videos chronologically, and I was wondering if maybe possibly you could do something like that, or just make a playlist that's in chronological order with the events that happen? I hope this doesn't seem pushy ! ^^;

Hi! If I'm understanding correctly (which, it's like 2 am right now so it's Very Possible I'm not lmao) you're asking for like, the events that span across all my characters written out in order of when they happened? Like with dates and stuff? Let me know if I got that wrong, I'm very sleepy and words are hard lol

But yeah I don't know! If you're looking for exact dates then that probably won't ever happen just because I myself don't have any exact dates for events, but maybe someday there could be something akin to a timeline? It'd be like. Way down the line though, there's a million other projects that would have to get priority before I spent the amount of time and energy something like that would need lol

As for a playlist- there's currently a playlist on the channel that contains everything in the order that it was uploaded, and everything (except for the rare flashback) has been uploaded as things happen through the world! So there would be pretty much no changes if I were to make a chronological events playlist lol

I was listening to the new audio for the third time (obsessed I 🩷 it so much) and I think I hear music playing when wastelands god guy is there and I'm curious about what song it is if you don't mind sharing? It sounds like something I would want to listen to while reading... 📚 🫰👀

It's a song I composed specifically for him! I'm actually thinking of making ambient themes for all of the inferno gods - potentially to be used in a spin off series following the gods? That'd be down the line though because I'd want to go full audio drama with cast other than just me lmao
