[ SG verse] “Babe…what did I tell you about being careful? Geez, you’re gonna get killed- again,” he gently scolded his lover. He lifted a hand to cup her cheek and lift her face so he could get a good look at the cut on her other cheek. It wasn’t that bad, thankfully. Rakan leaned in and gave the cut a small kiss, watching it quickly heal from magic. “There we go! Good as new! Did you do that just so I’d kiss it better?”

Rakan may have magic, but he himself was magical. She leaned into his touch, he was the only thing in this world that made any sense to her given the situation.

“Maybe I did?”

Xayah placed her hand over his hand that was against her cheek, she smiled warmly at him.

“Rakan, you heal me quite often…are you sure that it doesn’t affect you? You always make sure I am okay, but what about you?”

He chuckled as he looked at her, giving another light kiss to her forehead. “I can just give you kisses all the time, y’know?,” he shook his head. They were both pretty reckless, so he didn’t mind saving her.

“Me? Don’t worry bout me, babe! I’m fine…long as you’re okay.”

Her eyes gently closed as he placed a kiss against her forehead, she then proceeded to lay her head against his shoulder. As she closed her eyes her hand raised and softly flicked his forehead.

“I’m definitely going to worry, it is not in my nature to never worry. So you telling me not to worry? Not gonna happen.”

Xayah started chuckling, then it led into peaceful sighing.
