Summary: Just like every other person trying to find sanity these days, Coulson thought it would be fun to get Animal Crossing: New Horizons for the team.He also thought it would be funny to name the island Triskelion.

This fic is warm and cuddly and everything I needed to read after a hard day. It is basically just the team messing around on Animal Crossing and I love it so freaking much. It is a great family fic and I love it to bits!

I've read a lot of people found it weird that Jemma called May by her last name in the finale flashforward, but I thought it was lovely and said a lot about how much closer they've gotten ever since.

Here's a little headcanon (fix-it?) about how it may have developed since the show decided to just skip all that... and naturally, I couldn't resist making little parallels. ;)

seven for seven challenge, day 1

In light of the fact that there are only seven days left until the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. series finale (nooo i’m not ready), I saw from @justanalto that @bobbimorseisbisexual had come up with the fantastic idea of rec’ing 7 fics a day for the next seven days! So, may I present my fic recs for today (Thursday):

1. we never have to say goodbye by @nazezdha321 (Philinda, G, 4.5k) - This is an amazingly sad role reversal fic where Coulson pulls May out of her cubicle to help with the events of The Avengers (2012), and she ends up dying at Loki’s hands instead of him. It’s heartfelt and heartbreaking and somehow has Bahrain, Robin, and Natasha feels all rolled into one. 

2. these violent delights by @anakinnope (Dekesy, T, ~1.3k) - A spec fic from 7x02 regarding Daisy’s order to shoot Freddy Malick and how the conversation between Deke and Daisy regarding that order could have gone. It features the most perfect snarky Daisy and Deke voices I have ever heard and is an absolute masterclass in building sexual tension. I love it so much asjhdhhdsdjjsdh

3. The Important Thing is to Try by PocketMouse18 (Philinda, T, 85k+) - The newest of my adoption AU obsessions! Featuring kid!Skye, kid!Jemma, and teen!Bobbi as foster sisters, each with their own unique issues to deal with. It’s heartwarming and still being written so I’m very excited to see where it goes :)

4. i think i’ve seen this film before by @untying (platonic MayDaisy, T, 2k) - May dies near the start of the time loop in 7x09, and the author rips Daisy’s heart out with it as well as our own. Prepare for feels. 

5. May’s Golden Dragon by @justanalto (Philinda, G, 75k+) - This fic features May running a restaurant frequented by the Chinese mafia, Coulson as a journalist doing a piece on the restaurant, Bobbi and Skye as sisters, and Skye working through and discovering her sexual orientation, so basically everything you could ever ask for in a fic. I cannot even tell you how amazing it is. Just trust me. 

6. hold out your hand, ‘cause friends will be friends by @daisylincs (StaticQuake, T, 7k) - Soulmate AU for StaticQuake that also focuses on cute Mack & Daisy friendship feels?? And some MackElena on the side, of course. Smiles guaranteed all the way through :)

7. Hot chocolate by @agentofmarvel084 (Philinda/Philindaisy, G, 1.8k) - Coffeeshop AU with THE MOST ADORABLE five-year-old Daisy mispronouncing words and generally causing shenanigans. Cuteness overload guaranteed.

seven for seven challenge, day 1

in light of the fact that there are only seven days left until the agents of shield series finale (i’m crying too honestly), @bobbimorseisbisexual came up with the fantastic idea of rec’ing 7 fics a day for the next seven days! for today (thursday), here’s my picks:

1. Phil Coulson Really Needs to Go Microwave Shopping by anakinno (dousy, G, ~3k) This is such a quick little taste of that golden age 2012 fanfic that would be written about Sousa being introduced to so many modern things, except it’s Daisy doing it and it’s absolutely hilarious. 

2. Forever’s Already Started (you just don’t know it yet) by Sanctuaria - (phil, may and daisy family feels, T, 3.2k) What it would’ve been like had the team time looped into Daisy’s time at the orphanage. There’s a lot of parenting feels, Melinda considers punching a nun, and I daresay you might cry. 

3. Feel For You by Ellie603 (philinda, T, 30.2k) A soulmate AU in which soulmates can feel each other’s emotions, and Phil’s made it his mission to befriend the reclusive professor that is Melinda May. The tug between the two of them is amazing, and it’s so well-paced. Plus, Hunter is absolute chaos in this. 

4. i think i’ve seen this film before by InkBlotAngel (melinda & daisy, T, 2.1k) Explores what would’ve gone down (and probably did, we just didn’t see it) if May had died in one of the time loops. Will rip you apart, this is guaranteed. 

5. so close to magic (so close to home) by offbrandevan (skimmons, T, 22.3k) Daisy transfers to Hogwarts at the beginning of Jemma’s seventh year, and Jemma is the biggest mess there ever is for her. There’s Quidditch, there’s a lot of emotions…and Elena kicks some ass, which makes me very happy. 

6.  gaygent johnson reporting by 101places - (a whole team fic ft. pipsy, G, 2k) Daisy makes a ton of jokes in her process of coming out. Some of them are good. Some of them just call for a lot of good-natured groaning. It’s a little happy fic if you want a quick boost of laughter. 

7. There’ll be Stars in our Eyes by Bus_Kids_Burgade (the ladies of shield, G, 4.4k) May forces all of our favorite women of SHIELD on vacation, and it’s absolutely the bonding session you never knew you needed.

May rushes back to where she last saw Daisy and Jiaying, and her heart breaks at the sight of her young charge folded over the lifeless body of her mother, unshed tears in unseeing eyes.
