( inbox ) @soulgathered : Hime is simply going to follow ritsuka around, a deep frown on her face as she quickens her steps to keep up with the master. 'are you avoiding me?' wait did ritsuka just start to walk even faster?!

Ritsuka only spares a glance back at the king , before looking forward again as she walked to the command room . “ i’m busy right now , so i’m sorry i’m unable to entertain you today . ” and it was true that she was busy , ready to report to Romani and Da Vinci so they could rayshift her to gather materials . full team ready to wait for her presence . but Hime’s question also deemed true , and Ritsuka dodged it .

quite frankly , she’d like to avoid Hime as a whole , any variation of Gilgamesh if it could be helped . she grows anxious on the inside fast , and rather distracted for various reasons . how could she not ? so fragile , so guilt ridden — even sparing that quick glance made her heart speed up is partial distress . giving short and curt answers because that’s the easier way of talking to any of the Meso - era servants , hiding herself away from their presence .

even Hime could tell as much , couldn’t she ?

“ ... going to be occupied all day , your highness . i suggest you go and find something else to do as well . ” hopefully the separation of the two when Ritsuka enters the command room could tell as much .
