First off, happy new years. Can't remember the last time I logged on (I had to reset my password) • June 17- baby Nayeli entered this world • June 25- baby Zoe entered this world • August 17- I got a second job at Bretts BBQ • September 17- marks 1 year at champagne bakery • October 29- I lost one of favorite cousins B. He died from an accident while hiking. This is still so unreal to me. It was his birthday that day too. He was showing an international kid from Japan around Utah just for a few days. His requests were good food and hiking. My cousin was such an outdoorsy person which is why I still don't understand his death. My cousin fell at the most dangerous part of the falls (it took them quite awhile to retrieve his body) unfortunately the poor boy passed away as well but on opposite sides of the fall. He has a loving wife and two adorable kids. I don't know how they can be so strong while I was there crying like a fucking baby. It's still too much for the fams. I don't even want to go hiking just yet.. • December- allysa and Tai visited. It was nice to have my Twinnie in town and we got to know Tai. WE. APPROVE. got the approval of having a room when I move to Hawaii so I'm ready for you!! 2017- - saving as much money - Jar challenges- $5, $2 Fitbit (10,000 steps not reached) put random bills from tips, and loose change, 52 week challenge - celebrating my birthday in NOLA Feb 20-25 - picking up second job when I come back from NOLA - shooting to move Dec (or shortly after the holidays) - no eating out more than 1-2 times a week (this can save me so much money) - Nayeli and Zoe turn 1!! - my best friend moves to Hawaii in July 😭(that break will keep us strong bc we will be with one another after that 😂) - kortezie turning 3 I plan on applying at the Karlan hotel down the street from my house and either apply for 1) Food service (room service) 2) the Asado grill and become a server. 3) maybe something with the hotel industry. - when moving to Hawaii i can easily apply to islands since I'm already with the company and become a server! If I gain that hotel experience, I can work at a hotel! I might even apply at a coffee shop since I have barista experience. I have a few options and I can go at least 2 months without work BUT let's be real, I'll be on that shit quick haha I can do this. I'm so motivated. After my NOLA trip, I'll be starting another Jar for HI (bedroom stuff and etc) and continue doing the $5 Challenge and adding money to the first Hawaii jar. LETS. DO. THIS.
