>>still bright!<<
Newton then moved several stickers around on the wall with his cursor to create an industrial scene, with factories and smokestacks and dull birds hovering just out of reach of the pillars of steam. Little robotic entities seemed to scuttle back and forth, though they remained captured in a single moment.
Then he placed a sticker of his face, a small one, at the corner of his ‘canvas’.
“That’s a shame. They could stand to bring in some creativity.”
The new picture... was substantially more interesting. It looked how you would expect the forest to describe the court - bleak, completely drained of creativity.
“Well, they are creative, in their own right. Humans are interesting like that - they don’t like creativity in the court, but they can rationalise it as long as it’s made of metal, it seems. There are a few more... interesting... robots lutking around as well.”
The Robot King had even managed to master drawing, and expressing emotion.
“Still, I do wonder if they’d find you interesing. I suppose you’re robot-esque enough that they wouldn’t try to throw you into the waters...”

“Sorry but I’m not really the one to find attraction in a flexing stuffed animal. Just what are you?!”
“Well, I’m a soft toy, currently speaking, and able to change my form to a surprising degree. Judging by the biology books that Annie should be reading, I don’t believe I have a scientific classification. The closest way to describe myself to you would be ‘Fox Spirit’.”

Jinora smiled sadly at the fox-spirit but nevertheless still pondered upon its advice: One cannot choose their duty, but one can embrace it .
“I know…It’s just that-” she sighed “I’ve always wanted to be the leader but I hadn’t really thought about the responsibilities and the pressure it came with. There are times, I would like my siblings to think that I know what I’m doing but in reality, I don’t. As much as I hate to admit it, there would always be those times wherein I’m just…weak and vulnerable ”
Reynard nodded his head, “I understand. We are always wanting - yet we can never know the true effects of what we want. I wanted power - for purely selfish deeds - and I ultimately resulted in the death of a man. And thus, I am relegated to this body.”
“And yet, even in this vulnerable form, I am not weak, for I have not given up. The pressure and responsibilities will hurt you, but you are not weak, and they will not crush you.”

“Are you.. Are you trying to flex for me?”
“Well, that’s twice now that has failed spectacularly to impress. I apparently have been reading the wrong magazines.”

“Wait…! Y-you’re capable of speech?!”
“..Scientifically speaking, this anomaly is in need of immediate observation!”
“Feel free to observe all you like!”

Yep, we now have puppy Renard to add to the collection. Adorable puppy =)
But more to the point, we’re probably about to get a huge segment on Renard’s ownership. Note that he’s presenting the mark of the creator, not the mark of the Antimony. We can be 99% sure Renard’s ownership was given to Kat.

“Wait.. A stuffed toy?”
“Well, I guess that’s technically true!”

“I didn’t ask for all of this. To become the eldest sibling, to always be strong for the sake of the younger ones and to be the perfect role model for them.” Jinora vented out.
“What if for once, I wanted to be the one who was being taken care of rather than always being the one on the lookout for them.” she silently said.
“Child, one cannot choose their duty, but one can embrace it.” Reynardine had embraced his duty to protect Antimony, however much he had resisted it at first. Reynardine lifted a paw to the girl’s shoulder.
“There is no failure in being the perfect role model either.”
She could taste some fear, and it was surprising that it seemed it was her causing it. She should look like a short human girl, so unless they had a fear or girls it would seem they could sense energy or supernaturals.
Probably.
“I swear I mean you no harm” She said. “I swear to any and all gods to the fact!”
It was a good thing there was no one out this time of the evening, as this might of made quite the scene.
“You mean no harm, yet you distort the ether like she does. Like I do. WHY SHOULD I TRUST SOMEONE LIKE ME!” Renard shouted back.
Renard stopped running, rotating to face the terror - he could easily flee now he could take on his more... noble form. Still, he wasn’t sure why he stopped, for he wasn’t prone to losing his breath, owing to a substantial lack of lungs.
Ever wonder how big wolves are and why running from them is a really bad idea?
Who was Antimony? It didn’t bother Quincy too much, not while he was fascinated with the other’s form. “That’s incredible. How would your emotion’s dictate it?” he asked curiously. How much more would the wolf be willing to tell?
At the other’s comment Quincy blinked, thinking for a moment. Really? The mechanic thought this fascinating, and wouldn’t flee for the world. “I suppose it’s because I’m not quite normal myself, y’know? I’m not much terrified by the unknown,” he replied with a simply shrug. Anything unknown merely peaked his curiosity.
“In short form, the smaller I am the less mature I am feeling - well, in general. And what do you mean, you’re not normal?” Aside from the surprising lack of raw terror from an instant wolf, he had no reason to believe this person to be abnormal.
The sudden additional weight and then lightness in her pocket was startling, but not as much as the sudden appearance of some…thing sprinting away from her.
Her instinct unlike any sane person was not to run the other way but sprint after it. It seemed humanoid-ish, and yet was clearly not so she just had to find out what it was.
“Wait!” She called, hoping it understood English. “There’s no need to run!”
‘No need to run!’. Ha! She was absolutely terrifying, and Renard was running as far away as possible. “There’s perfectly good reason to run - you are that reason!”.
Renard kept running, although she was making ground easily, thanks to his accursed legs. It would only take a few more seconds and he’d be able to transform again, where with any luck he would likely be able to enter a more... appropriate form.
Xie would have argued further, but it crossed xir mind that irritating a giant grumpy teethy canine wouldn’t be a good idea. So xie settled for just walking behind him.
“Well most wolves can’t talk. I suppose. I haven’t met a lot of wolves before to be honest. Or we humans can’t understand them, I guess.“
“Why do you persist in following me?” Renard wanted nothing more than for his walk to be in peace, for it had recently seemed that he was not able to clear his head. “Yes, I can talk. I acknowledge that normal wolves tend not to do this. I do appreciate it when people don’t gawk at me like some sort of circus animal.”
Humans. They could completely understand you... and within the same breath actively ignore you.
“Aren’t wolves roughly big dogs?”
“…Wait hold on you can speak?! Okay stupid question but wow. Wasn’t expecting that. Holy hairy frogs in the soup. This is amazing.“ Xie was genuinely in awe.
“WOLF.” Renard growled. He didn’t always have much of it, but he would defend his pride where needed.
“And why is it that every human I meet is impressed by the fact that I talk?” Rey shook his head, before continuing his walk. It was going perfectly fine before.
