Anyways.

Trailblazer = Phainon

Elio = Cyrene

Theres also of course, as ive yapped before, the opposite, where its Elio = Phainon and Trailblazer = Cyrene.

The two exist side by side. They each play the role of Hero and Author at the same time.

Hell, theres literally references to that with TB’s voicelines and the voicelines of others with them. Theres both voicelines about ‘writing the story’ and ‘taking the stage’, to put it simply, because Trailblazer is doing both.

Elio is less of a spotlight protagonist and one of those protagonists thats likes to do stuff in the background. Strategist hero vs frontline hero type stuff. Anyways.

But i am specifically referring to the former half of the mess right now!

Basically, we’ve met Trailblazer’s Flame Reaver. Its the Altblazer. Or Terminus.

Altblazer is.. clearly antagonistic to Trailblazer. Not in a fully hostile way though?? Altblazer doesnt seem to truly hate Trailblazer. Bro is mean though. But also both times they’ve showed up, they seemingly purposefully ragebaited Trailblazer in locking in harder.

Altblazer comes from a future where everything is FUCKED. They clearly want a better future…

And also to seemingly throw hands with Trailblazer at that ending. Either Trailblazer wins, or Altblazer.. likely either way though, it may not matter if they merge.

Oh hey wait. Thats just Phainon & Flame Reaver.

Elio also does know about Altblazer! They arent actually a legitimate anomaly! How do we know this?

In 3.8, at the end of the quesr. Silver Wolf texts to inform TB that Firefly’s woken up. When TB asks when they can see her again, Silver Wolf says the script says they need to ‘wait till you face yourself’. Which is almost obviously referring to Altblazer.

Especially since it came the patch after Altblazer first appeared.

Elio having some knowledge as to Altblazers existence also aligns with Cyrene/Peach’s own knowledge of Flame Reaver and his origin.

Unlike Phainon & Flame Reaver, I do imagine that they’ll end up breaking the cycle on their own.

That or they introduce another character who can act for Trailblazer & Elio as TB did for Phainon & Cyrene.

Though that option does seem less likely, honestly.

Especially considering that they’re playing both roles. That fucks with things a bit already.

this is based on a previous post where someone mentioned who would be the universal counterpart to the trailblazer since they're phainons counterpart and just like phainon might end up needing outside help/guidance just like how trailblazer did with phainon and i think the answer is welt we can make the obvious connection with him being from a separate universe just like how trailblazer can technically be considered from a separate universe compared to the amphoreus one and not to mention most of welts interactions with the trailblazer are about reassuring and supporting them about being the protagonist cause hes been through a similar experience with being the protagonist and this also opens up the possibility of welt giving a final lesson

I’d argue that if we’re thinking about it that way … it wouldnt be Welt.

No, I’d argue that the stronger candidate, it would be Kiana.

Elio has clear connections to the Kaslanas, and Trailblazer has plenty to them as well.

They all also seem to be a similar breed of person - Elio is 100% seemingly the reason TB is the dork that they are and i will not let anyone forget this.

Kiana iirc, also has some connections to cats. And more importantly, a direct connection to Finality.

And trains.

She also has the whole Protagonist/hero/main character thing going for, just like Trailblazer did with Phainon & Cyrene.

I’d also argue that that’d certainly be a interesting way to add a Kiana into the game directly - and I think having it be Kiana (a variant like Acheron or literally Kiana like with Welt) would actually work alot better than any other new character playing the role the Trailblazer did for Phainon & Cyrene for Elio & Trailblazer.

Also i’d say that that would this give Kiana the degree of importance Hoyo is liable to want to give her, while not sidelining the preexisting major characters of HSR.

Elio being a (seemingly very sophisticated) trash panda low key makes the Fate's Ensemble menu make sense because on top of the kitty typewriter, there's a bunch of other details that implies he's got an interest in collecting things. There's two tickets peeking out from underneath the pov pages as well some greyed-out/unused photos.

There's also a pot of purple flowers on the right side of the screen but I have no idea what kind they are, scrap/memo paper + an orange bookmark towards the bottom in an overview blink and you miss it moment, plus some books (personal hc that these are theatre/movie scripts from various points in time).

Very cute that the book with the cat cover has the same logo as the typewriter just flipped forward.

Also Elio talking about ‘Trailblazing’ so often.. im not surprised. Elio from what we know is a character whose very much someone who does what they do because its necessary, regardless of their own desires.

… if Elio’s own abandoned path does turn out to be the Trailblaze im RIOTING because thats fucking tragic. He has what seems to be a train ticket like. ow??

Ok so Kafka and the Stellaron Hunters obviously ain’t dying. But the question is what’s the context here. Going off of Blade’s sword in the frame, that’s Mortenax’s. So I think there could be three things there:

1. This is Asat messing with Stelle and making her see the worst possibility to make her fully convert to the Destruction after the train incident

2. This is a future possibility that has yet to happen

3. Same thing but has been averted by Elio

Or secret 4. Past timeline the universe literally reset for. Hence TB fighting for a better future where they don’t up and kill everyone

Either way I don’t think they’re fr dying cause they literally just got their SP forms and other stuff as well.

Little thing I noticed however is that besides Kafka and Stelle, there is Blade’s sword, SAM’s sword stabbing Kafka, Silver Wolf glasses to the side of Kafka and Firefly’s hair clip to the left of the screen (which I haven’t seen anyone point out yet). No cat in sight tho means Elio probably didn’t get involved.
