i see most rerir ponies be changelings and while i can see why and, to preface it i don't hate it and actually changelings are cool as fuck. he is WAY more a nightmare moon character. if any nod krai character would be changeling it's flins honestly

the aesthetic and story of rerir matches nightmare moon a lot, this is probably pretty obvious since both are tragic night characters. the connection of rerir and changeling comes from the changelings doppelganger ability and feeding off love. nightmare moon can also shapeshift and i don't think rerir is feeding off love but instead is consumed by obsession, same as luna

i also think princess luna fits young rerir .. being silent until her inner turmoil consumes her and she's banished to the moon. .. moon banishment and the moon gate do you see the connetion here

princess luna having a reflection and redemption thing also matching where rerir is right now. except rerir is still in banishment until further notice.

daiwa is really good rep of narcissism that isn't the " abusive manipulator " stereotype in my opinion, i relate to her heavily in how a narcissist behaves.

arrogant, hot-headed and self-centered. these are traits i see myself in a lot and honestly what most people most likely view me as. especially when i'm having one of those "splits" (it's not called splitting for NPD to my knowledge but behaves pretty similarly)

hearing her relationship with her mom was, yeah. that was my relationship with every adult in my life. they're too busy with, work, another kid, their own friends, etc. my only feeling of connection with other people was the moments i was being praised and spoiled

so the behavior i developed was simple: i MUST be number one. at something, anything. and the moment i wasn't i would snap

and daiwa showcases it perfectly! desperation to maintain her spot but feeling lost at times when it came to what first place even meant or was.

another part of NPD is low empathy, i can't really feel things on a personal level. nothing really comes to mind for daiwa when it comes to this trait but i may have to reread her events.
