A walk exploring the historic bridges of Shrewsbury. The River Severn loops around the centre of Shrewsbury and is the reason the town is here. From helping with protection, to being able to trade, the river gives Shrewsbury a purpose. Even now the river gives us a sense of place and the bridges in the centre have contributed to the history and growth of the town.
