It all started with an innocent enough comment during battle
“What’s your secret? Facial creams, the blood of virgins? Come on you can tell me, I wont laugh.”
That little comment shed light on something Vlad that had been trying to ignore and deny for the past 8 years, he hadn’t been aging, not since his 40th.
The next day Vlad moved out of amity park (he resigned from being mayor a few years previously) and Danny didn’t see Vlad for 16 years after that, he tried to, so did his parents, wondering why their old college buddy wont answer his phone or visit anymore, Vlad’s Ghost portal was locked down and a powerful ghost shield had been placed around his castle in Wisconsin.He would hear whispers of him in the ghost-zone, and news of “Vlad Masters Billionaire, whom disappeared from public sight, not even coming in for work and charity events"vfrom the human world. So after a few years, Danny convinced himself Vlad was just being a fruitloop and not planning something evil and left him alone, to fade from memory.
That is until Danny’s 38th, which was held at Fenton works.
-Some facts to know at this point
Sam and Tucker married, two kids, Alex and Erin whom where at home with Tuckers Parents.
Jack and Maddie know about Danny being a half-ghost but he never told them about Vlad, it wasn’t his place tell them.
Val and Dani married, and like to travel the world, sending Danny postcards as they go.
Danny finally realized he had to claim Amity Park as his territory to stop ghosts from constantly coming through, which he did.
Ghosts started to appear more in the world, not just Amity Park. once that place became Danny’s territory, ghosts started to concentrate on making natural portals through out the world, this of course has only just started, ghost sightings are still few and far between.
This doesn’t mean Danny still doesn’t get challenged, Skulker still tries, but it’s more for fun these days, most of Danny’s old enemies/frenemies (is that the term?) come through to fight too, they just like a good fight just for the sake of it.
Jazz is married to her work and is at the top of her field in psychiatry.
Danny could no longer ignore that he looked younger than his friends, They had noticed too, Jazz and his parents even more so, Danny of course tries to play it off “Maybe I just got your genes mom, you still look pretty young for your age haha” “My diet of Nasty Burgers and junk food keeps me looking young"
But there was that little voice in the back of his head ”Vlad didn’t look like he was 48 either" But Danny pushed this voice away and tried to enjoy his small birthday gathering with his Family and friends (Dani and Val were holidaying in Egypt at that time and couldn’t make it, they sent him a gift tho)
(Danny likes to make shapes with his energy to accompany his stories)
Whilst he was talking with Jazz, well her commenting on his life, the fact that he hasn’t dated anyone quite a few years, the fact he looks young, why doesn’t he call or visit her more often etc etc
There was a knock on the door
For which Danny is thankful for, that is until he answers it
And Danny’s worst fears were answered.
Of course Danny’s reaction to this was to change form and fly as far away from Fenton works,Vlad and the truth of his fate, as possible.
Jazz, being Jazz, took just a second to connect Danny’s reaction with the appearance of Vlad.
“Dannys not going to age anymore is he, Vlad.”
The rest of the night was filled with explanations and questions, lots and lots of questions mostly from Jazz whom seemed to be the only one who could form words at this discovery. The is until Jack opened his mouth
To which seemed to flick a switch in Vlad, who had been calm and distant during the evening of questions, was now livid, His eyes glowing a harsh red and electicity sparked from him
“YOU’RE SORRY!?Jack. Because of your stupidity you put me in hospital for years, you made me less than human, For years I wanted to kill you for that. But no,you did more than that you condemned me to immortality, to watch the world change and people die around me, and if it was not for the fact you did the same to your son I would have torn you to pieces when I discovered my fate. Because of Daniel I will not be alone, There will be one human fucking being I wont have to watch wither away and die, he is the reason you ARE NOT DEAD”
By the end of his rant, several things had been set aflame by Vlad’s sparking. He took several large deep breaths and straightened himself out, his eyes fading back to cold blue
“T-this is not what I came here to do. I apologize. I must go find Daniel, I am sure he will be taking this revelation far worse than I did.”
Vlad absent mindedly patted a the small patch of fire that was threatening to consume the chair he had sat it
“You have cursed your son to watch you all die. To watch everything and everyone he loves leave him. How does that make you feel?”
And with that Vlad Blinked out of their sight.

He re-appeared up high, out the sight of the people lurking about in the night of Amity Park and searched for a spark of green, to which he was rewarded with the sight of Dannys green ecto shots at the outskirts of Amity Park and waited until the shots became fewer and less bright, then he set out towards him.
As he drew closer to Danny he could hear his repeated frustrated screams of No, and the falling of trees.
By the time Vlad reached Danny he was curled up in the middle of the mess he had made of the land crying
“I’m sorry, Little Badger, for what it’s worth. I know you’ve been denying it as much as I had, you had to face it sometime.”
“There’s no cure for this is there? You would have looked for it, You’re smart. You’re you.”
“No, unless you feel like killing your self?I tried but I always turned intangible by reflex no matter how many times I tried, the bullet just kept hitting the wall.”
Vlad walked over and sat down in the burnt ground next to Danny, tentatively putting an arm around him
“You won’t be alone Daniel, I’ll always be here for you, whether you like it or not”
Danny turned his head in his arms to look at Vlad
“You really will be, wont you.”

Okay i’m ending it there, this is how it began, It’s not that good, I am not writer but oh god did I try ;A; at least it gives some insight on how it started. Riggght from the beginning, I’m going to have to do more of these, ‘cause god dammit they live long lives and a lot of shit happens.
*collapses on the ground* I worked a great many hours on this, I hope yah’ll think it’s worth it ;w;
these damn things start out me just stating facts about what happens but before i know it i’m writing it like a fic god dammit
