I am an LGBTQ+ student at STI College Ormoc, trying to grow, study, and be proud of who I am. Currently a 3rd year student choosing to be real, to be seen, and to keep moving forward. I carry my identity with me every day, even in small moments inside the classroom and beyond. Being an LGBTQ+ student shapes how I see the world, how I learn, and how I dream. With every challenge and lesson, I remind myself that growth takes time and that moving forward, even slowly, is still progress.
Everyday, I am reminded that gender has never been and will never be a hindrance to success. I am proud to represent the LGBTQ+ community in an environment that celebrates diversity and acceptance. Truly, being part of STI shaped me to be more confident and purpose-driven person ready to face the world, because here in STI we are made to be more.
