Alrighty so I've told WR and I might as well make it official here.
I need to put Rhett on hiatus because grade 12 is extremely hectic for me at the moment. marks matter and university applications are on their way so I really only have the time and muse for Owana at the moment. Even when I'm stressed out of my mine Owana's there. I think it's just cause I've had her for so long.
I'll be back on Rhett hopefully after January! Love you all!

Oh. *sits up with a quiet groan, rubbing the back of his neck* Hi. I suppose you haven’t heard? I blew myself up and lost all my memories.

*sighs* Yeah, I know. I’m sorry. But try not to get freaked out about it. I mean, yeah, you need to think about it, but I didn’t know what I wanted to do until a few years after I left school. As long as you have some way to pay bills, you’ll be fine.
Right ... I just don't want to be stuck as a janitor at the Ministry of Magic for the rest of my life, you know? I mean, I know my parents have money but I don't want to be dependant on them.

This Wasn't the Plan at All || Marie & Rhett
Marie landed in the alley, stumbling slightly. It was dark, as usual, due to the large buildings surrounding the apartment complex. Nobody was in the back dumping their trash, so that was good. She leaned against the wall as she waited for Rhett, wincing slightly as she shifted her weight. It wasn’t long until he appeared and she was off the wall and up the stairs. “Try to be as quiet as possible, I really don’t need the other tenants asking questions about how we got this messed up.”
Rhett appeared soon next to Marie, stumbling slightly on a broken beer bottle he'd apparated on top of. He nodded at her and silently started to follow her.
"Do you know healing spells? You look pretty banged up."
Ah, the seventh year blues. *sits next to him on his bed* It’s going to be alright, Rhett, I promise.
Yeah they're already bombarding us with things like, "So what do you twats want to do with the rest of your sorry lives?" Just, you know, with nicer language.

They walked down a few blocks before Marie spotted an alley behind a row of shops. Trees created a cover and darkened the street, making it hard to see far down into it. She quickly pulled Rhett across the street to the entrance. “Okay, the address is 124 Beech Street. That’ll take you to the back alley, but I’ll go first just to make sure that everything’s okay.”
Rhett nodded. "Great, thanks." He watched as Marie disappeared and then concentrated hard on the address. He was pretty decent at Apparation, but he wasn't particularly fond of it. At least he had yet to splinch himself. What were those three D's of apparation again? Destination, determination ... whatever. Rhett trusted his instincts and spun on his heel.
Guys, I'm actually worried about the future. This is a new advancement for me, pat me on the back.

"That’s the truth. I think there’s one around here that would be suitable." She started walking around the corner, towards the less crowded street.Â
Rhett followed her, watching as slowly the streets around him became less and less dense. He kept a tight grip on his wand. He wondered if enough fighting could get him expelled from Hogwarts. He couldn't bear the thought of the Ministry coming to snap his wand in two.

"I think appirating would be best, considering the fact that we’re not exactly in the best shape right now," she replied. Having a muggle policeman or anyone else stop them on their way home was not something she wanted to deal with. "You can appirate on your own, right?"
"That's true." Rhett said, the bruise on his cheek reminding him of just that with a sharp twang of pain. "Yeah I can. But we need to find an alleyway or something. We can't disapparate in the middle of London."

"It’s alright, it has to be better than what’s waiting for me at home." Rhett said, with a weak laugh. He didn’t like disappointing his parents and while he knew it was inevitable, he’d like to delay their confrontation as much as possible.

Rhett smiled weakly. "That'd be nice, yeah." he said before shoving his hands in his pockets. "Wanna walk or apparate?"

"Right- oh, yeah. I think George is still at work so we can get cleaned up without him asking questions," she responded. Of course his house was a stupid place to go back to- both of his parents were Aurors, and they’d definitely have heard about the disturbance. "The apartment is just a few blocks away, but I’m warning you, it’s not very nice looking. Or clean, for that matter, despite my valiant efforts."Â

A Little Father/Son Time
Ron walked into the sitting room and spotted his son. He had stayed home from work, and he had decided he wanted to spend the day with Rhett. He figured his son was feeling a bit neglected, with everything that had been going on. And he knew that feeling all too well, having grown up in a much bigger family than this one.
"Mind if I join you?" He asked. "I figured since I’m home, and you’re home, we could spend some time together. I know things have been tough lately, but I’d like to make up for it."
Rhett looked around at his father’s voice and shrugged. “Go ahead.” he said, closing the textbook and pushing it aside to make room for his father. Rhett wasn’t quite sure what to say, so he remained quiet.

"I had that same feeling too, she said, smiling slightly. "It was bound to happen sometime, and I’m glad that I was able to do something about it." Her sexuality was still an awkward subject for her, but she felt emboldened by this encounter. Being able to break the nose of her antagonizer sure helped. "I’m completely sure, Rhett," she stated. "Let’s get back to your place now. I need to sit down."
"I suppose ... I just wish it didn't have to land us in such shit," he sighed, running a hand through his hair.Â
Rhett grimaced. "Is it possible to go to yours? My mum's home and she'll probably know any minute now ... she won't be happy to see either of us."
