its funny how toph is always thought of as this really tough zero fucks given character, when she is really forgiving. she went to meet her mother in ba sing se when her parents basically told her she wasn’t allowed any friends. she had no problem with iroh once she found out he was with zuko (because she knew what he was really like) and she was there advocating for zuko to join the gaang when nobody else wanted him. she could see he was just a troubled kid with a bad family (and she points this out). she is over the moon when the boulder and the hippo come back to help with the invasion. in the chase she decided to go back to the others before they could apologise or anything. she gets hotheaded but she is very forgiving and i love her a lot.
