Hearing the news of Tsvetelina Stoyanova is absolutely devastating. She is one of my favorite group gymnasts. I was so happy she was successful in the group after transitioning from individual. I hope she recovers.

It’s kind of hard to explain, but she fell/jumped from 6 stories up and has life threatening injuries. They performed surgery, but the doctors are unsure if she’ll recover. Really really terrible.

Do you think this could have been from depression? I read somewhere that she has been having health issues…

Well, I know her mother passed away and someone on Passion Beauty Grace commented something about her “stupid football boyfriend”, but apart from that, not much is known :/

I've read somewhere that there were a lot of corruption in RG. Is it true? I'm sorry, I'm a new fan, I don't really now much about politics and all

Kind of true! Sadly, there is a lot of bribery within RG bc some coaches r hella rich cough Irina Viner the russian coach cough, so scores are questionable e.g when Kanaeva got a 30 out of 30 ; meaning a PERFECT score which is just....not possible! xoxo hope this helped

I'm sure your legs are not big! Do you think allot of girls have eating disorders in gymnastics? I know allot of people assume so, but am unsure whether there is any truth in this xx

Trust me they are, we joke about me in the gym a lot as the hippo (but in good nature of course) lol! Well, from what I’ve noticed, the amount of KNOWN gymnasts with eating disorders are practically zero compared to known prima ballerinas and whatnot, while it is true rg gymnasts are vigorously weighed and checked, there haven’t been cases on eating disorders that I know of xoxo

Do you think there's any pressure in your sport to be a certain size?

Yes!!! Definitely; most gymnasts strive for the extremely thin, long-legged body type - it supposedly looks more elegant and the thinner you are, the better you look on the floor and it's easier to leap (however, I am on the bigger legged side and leaps are my favourite because I have soooooo much thigh muscle hence why my legs are big) :)

So you think it would be easy for a dancer( if they're very flexible) to transition into rythmic gymnastics?

Flexibility is obviously a bonus, handling isn't as easy to switch into though, so if you are switching just make sure to focus on handling xoxo

I don't know if you follow any young rythmic gymnasts but if you do do you think Lennox Hopkins would ever be able to make it to the Olympics?

I have no idea who  she is so i had to youtube her, i don't know how level systems work in the US (if that's where she's from?) but she looks too young for us to know yet, so idk :) x
