The Romanian scandal that’s been brewing the past few weeks finally erupted with this new video which includes ex-gymnasts such as Alexandra Piscupescu, Ana Luiza Filiorianu, Anna and Christina Dragan and Denisa Mailat.

20 minutes of the girls telling their abuse stories under the current head coaches of the Romanian Rhythmic Gymnastics Team.

I am now a retired athlete transitioning into university studies and pursuing a career in law.

I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported me on my remarkable journey as a rhythmic gymnast.

Each of you has played a vital role in my experience, and I am truly appreciative.

Throughout my athletic career, I have competed in the Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, World Games, Maccabiah Games, five World Championships, World Cups, and FIG competitions. I have earned national and continental titles, been inducted into the Hall of Fame, received the Australian Sports Medal, and received honors such as Athlete of Distinction and entries in the Roll of Fame, along with various national and international awards, newspaper articles, and interviews.

Currently, I am a FIG Academy coach and a member of the RG Technical Committee, allowing me to remain active in the gymnastics community from a different perspective.

I would like to give special thanks to the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation and Mariana Vasileva for their unwavering support over the past 3.5 years, which has been instrumental in shaping me into the athlete I am today. I'm not saying bye, just opening new doors🥹❤️
