As long as R doesn’t try to point out the fact she was CLEARLY dying inside because those horrible puns, everything is fine, her pride intact, not doomed for the rest of her life. ‘’For a moment i though those nasty flies were plaguing my day.’’ No shame either.

Ah, there it is. There’s that smile which twiddles at one’s lips when they know a particularly embarrassing secret about another. A curl which pulls at the very corner of your lips when she ─ finally ─ addresses you directly, and you just can’t hide your amusement with her response. Stubborn as ever, just like her father. A trait you could appreciate.

A jest; a friendly poke toward the e’er serious nature that seemed to persist with the Vergier family. Though, if you ever had to choose which you would like to not test your boundaries with, you ought to choose Charlie over her father ─ she has quite the kick, and you don’t exactly fancy adding another careless injury to your list of problems.
