📌 It's time for a new pinned! I had been more fandom-active on Twitter in the old days but now that's locked for venting lol. My stuff on here:

Queen - I've been in the fandom immediately post-movie (so that's late 2018), only started posting content here around 2021. That's probably what most of you guys were following me for. I'm still doing those! Just a little less intensely. But I'm mainly hoping to keep in touch with my Queen mutuals. ❤

Mission: Impossible - I arrived having watched TFR in 2025 and I never left. I think Benthan recruited me. I'm actively writing for M:I, practically finished all accessible interviews covering them, still progressing on digging up more materials for my own analyses.

Top Gun/Top Gun: Maverick - I guess it was inevitable. I watched the theatrical re-release of both movies a month ago (TG86 x2 TGM x3 was not an easy feat when there's only 1 showing of each in a day, for only one week!). After TFR and TGM, I believe in movies again. I'm still on absorption mode for this one, but I may write for it soon!

DC Comics (bittersweetly. not a fan of Gunn if that helps),

Sherlock (2011 - 2018, mostly on Twitter, yes unironically),

Eurovision (someday again, whenever EBU decides to grow a spine),

Doctor Who (dropped in during Fourteen's specials so he and Donna have my entire heart, but in the overall fandom I'm super casual).

Queen II (2026) Boxset - Handwritten Notes, Lyrics, and Other Memorabilia

And once again enough time has passed...

If you've followed me for a while you've probably seen the same version of this post for the Queen I (2024) boxset. This post is dedicated specifically for the handwritten notes, lyrics, and memorabilia from the Queen II (2026) boxset book, shared especially for those who didn't get to buy the boxset. Although this time, thankfully I didn't have to take my own photos. These fantastic scans are from Chinwonder2, please send your thanks to him! The original scans are hundreds of MB each in PNG so if you have any hi-res requests just let me know.

Not much commentary from me other than how fascinating it is to see the original drafts of lyrics and titles and doodles of storyboards and raw ideas in what is mostly Brian's and Freddie's handwriting. You can also track their recording sessions in a lot of these to work up a timeline of how long they were working on which. With that, enjoy!

From their first concert in Truro, to their final show at Knebworth - raising funds for the Mercury Phoenix Trust, one step at a time! For the last 25 years I have had the privilege of working for Queen as a TV, Video and online content Producer/Director. In that time I’ve been involved in 6 feature length documentaries such as Queen : Days of Our Lives and The Show Must Go On : The Queen + Adam Lambert Story, 12 DVD releases including Greatest Video Hits 1 & 2, Live at Wembley, On Fire At The Bowl and Freddie Mercury, Lover of Life, Singer of Songs, the filming of 7 concert performances, 20 music videos and many hours of online videos for YouTube, which also featured 100 episodes of Queen The Greatest. On top of that, I was one quarter of the QueenPod team, co-wrote a book on Freddie, and have been able to take part in several product launch events, Fan Club Conventions, gatherings and Parties. I’ve had the absolute pleasure of meeting so many people who are part of the Queen family, not least some of the amazing fans who share a love for the music from the greatest band in the world! Needless to say, I’ve enjoyed every minute of it – and feel that it’s about time I gave something back! So, I’ve decided to undertake a challenge and, hopefully, raise some money for the Mercury Phoenix Trust. The Mercury Phoenix Trust was set up in 1992 by Sir Brian May, Roger Taylor, John Deacon and Jim Beach in memory of Freddie Mercury, and focuses on education and raising awareness to help in the worldwide fight against AIDS. I was lucky enough to go on a trip to Myanmar and see, first hand, the incredible work that is being supported by the MPT in Freddie’s name, under incredibly challenging circumstances, and I’d like to do something to contribute. With that in mind, I’m going to go on a walk – and in true Queen style, it’s going to be a big one! 286 miles in total. I’m going to start on Sunday 26th July outside Truro City Hall in Cornwall – the venue for what is regarded as the ‘first’ Queen concert. The plan is to then average about 21 miles a day, arriving at Knebworth Park on Sunday 9th August – the 40th anniversary of Queen’s last performance with Freddie, at the end of the 1986 Magic Tour. My son, Ollie, is going to be joining me to keep me sane, and I’ll be posting our progress on Instagram @luppers71, @TheMagicWalk on TikTok. If there are any Queen fans out there who we might be passing – do please give us a wave and say hello, or why not come and join us on the Magic Walk for a few miles! We can chat all things Queen along the way, swapping stories and experiences. I love hearing what this band means to people and we’ve all got tales to tell. The company, even if it’s just for a few minutes, will be greatly appreciated. I'll be sharing a link on @luppers71 each day so you can follow our movements on GoogleMaps. Something new awaits you at the Queen Studio Experience in Montreux! Queen Archivist Greg Brooks has recently been in Montreux, spending time refreshing several of the display cabinets at the Queen Studio Experience, ready for the thousands of fans who will arrive in September to celebrate Freddie Mercury's birthday. The displays now look very different, featuring albums never showcased before, alongside an incredible collection of Freddie's handwritten lyrics, many of which have not previously been displayed. Highlights include "Killer Queen," "Don't Stop Me Now," "Death on Two Legs," "Somebody to Love," and "Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy." The Queen Studio Experience is a Mercury Phoenix Trust initiative, and donations are warmly welcomed during your visit, helping to support the Trust's ongoing fight against HIV/AIDS worldwide. We can't wait for you to see it!

Sir Brian May has loaned an astonishing selection of treasures from his personal archive of Queen memorabilia to a landmark exhibition in London. The display of Queen items forms part of the music section of the ‘Branding Britain: Built on Tradition, Shaped by Culture’ exhibition which is open at the Museum of Brands in Notting Hill, London now until 31st October 2026. Queen items loaned by Brian May and the Queen archive include two iconic stage costumes worn by Freddie Mercury, handwritten lyrics, original LPs, concert tickets, vintage T-shirts, and a nostalgic collection of 1980s newspapers and magazines that captured Queen’s global fame at its peak.
