“Of course. We’ll get Macrons and Snails. Oh and we’re definitely going to get real champagne. Don’t even worry about it, handsome. It’s more for me than it is for you anyway. I can’t wait to see that body in a fitted suit.”
“Ye- what? No. No, I don’t need you to find me a tutor, Mr. Kennedy. I promise I’ll be fine. I’ll … talk to my dad if I have any problems with any of my classes.” He let out a short chuckle, trying to make it sound convincing. “Yeah, maybe. I’m pretty sure that’s what my dad wants me to do, so. Oh, well. Wouldn’t say you’re all old. And I know plenty of people are eager to work for you.”
“Hmm, if you say so, Benjamin. But just know the offer is on the table. And we don’t need eager people. We need people who have this business in their blood. Anyone could learn this stuff. I want more natural talent.”
