A major difficulty of doing a portrait project of transgender and non-binary people is just to get people willing to out themselves and stand in front of the camera. I try to protect their privacy by only using their first names or pseudonyms. Nevertheless the project progress is slow and there is a dearth of trans people of colors in the project. I am really glad that Sera agrees to be photographed. The Hasselblad 110/2 is one of the best portrait lens ever, ceding the crown perhaps only to the Cooke PS945, but the Cooke is a large format lens. I can shoot film forever because of these two lenses. They are just incomparable. Also, this is handheld at 1/30th, so it's possible to have reasonably sharp photo even at low speed with good techniques. The new TCN45 #gibellinicamera is here! I had to sell my other 4x5 couple other things but looks like this will work out just fine. It's 4 lbs 4 ozs, more than 1.5 lbs lighter than the ACN45 Gibellini and works pretty much the same. I also had the front standard modified so it can do asymmetrical tilt. Like its bigger sibling, it handles the larger lens on the Copal 3 shutter with no problem! Normally I use two different backs with my Hasselblad, but one needs a CLA (Clean Lube Adjust) and I can't afford to right now. I was shooting with B&W film and my wife said. "oh wow, look at the sunset!"
