It’s pretty funny to me that a bajillion years ago, I made up a whole space fantasy headcanon about team-building turian drum squads in Red Streak, based entirely on a whim because I had a dim, surface-level awareness of taiko drumming like... existing. As a concept. Far far away.

Fast forward like a decade? And now taiko drumming has taken over my whole entire body and soul in the best possible way, as in, it is actually changing my life

It'd be cool if they put Ochiba in a Samurai armor in Season 2 of Shogun. ⚔️

Seeing pictures of Kanna Oyama wearing the armor of the Taiko got me thinking how cool it would be to see Ochiba in it.

Ochiba's historical character, Chacha, have been depicted in numerous Japanese period dramas wearing Samurai armor as she rallies her men to protect her son and castle at Osaka.
