Remember when we use to fall and scrape our knees and our mom or dad would make us feel better in no time. I wish our hearts as adults were the same. I love my mom so much but this is something I have to overcome myself.

Sometimes I feel like a walking contradiction, and I get the feeling other people see me that way too. I crave adventure and newness yet I also fear too much change and opening up. I love people yet I am extremely shy. My emotions are intense and varied but I seem totally placid on the outside. I have tons of ideas but my self critical nature keeps the majority of them from being shared.

Old school is my way of healing. The sounds remind me of my happy childhood and I begin to fall in love with myself all over again. It's a feeling I can't explain. Pure bliss. My problems begin to melt away because they don't matter. I remember riding to old jams in the middle of the night with my mom. Best feeling ever. If I don't have anything I have my old school. It's a chill it's my high. My happy place. I gotta get back to this.
