Alaric || Izzy or Ben
âI just⊠I guess Iâll have to see where the water takes herâŠ. I just feel like I should be⊠I should help her.â
âHelp isnât bad. I just donât think sheâll see it as if you are helping; more like telling her what she can and canât do. I doubt sheâll appreciate it.â
When I can be here, struggling to raise the dead? Well, if it makes any difference, this is worth some serious extra credit.
Alaric || Izzy or Ben
âShe met some vampires in LA, picked up their lifestyle habits⊠Something Iâm not so sure I agree with⊠But I guess⊠Itâs her life, isnât it?â
âI wouldnât worry too much, Ben. Iâm sure itâs just a phase. When she realizes what sheâs doing is wrong, sheâll stop. But you shouldnât take responsibility for her.â
Alaric || Raven
She leaned her head against her fatherâs shoulder, finally basking in his warmth. âI missed you.â She whispered. âToo much.â
âIâve missed you, too. I think about you and your mother everyday.â He said and strokes her hair with his free hand. As he pulls away from her embrace, he ushers her to the kitchen. âWould you like some coffee? If I can get this new darn machine to workâ He said turning to face it. Attempting to get it to work, regardless of his daughters response. He was just caught up in her being back.
Alaric || Izzy or Ben
âItâs just⊠itâs Liz,â Ben confessed. âWe broke it off a few weeks ago, and then she skipped town, and now sheâs back⊠But sheâs not the same person she was. Sheâs changed, and I donât think itâs for the better.â
âChange?â The others faher said in a curious tone. Interested to know what he meant by it. âHow so?â He asked. Here was were his head was saying something about her being Klausâ daughter who he still wasnât fond of. âAny idea as to why?â
Alaric || Raven
Walking slowly into the house, Raven listened to the voice of her father. She let her eyes close for a moment, picturing his face before opening her eyes again, making sure all this was real. Silently, she strolled further into the house until she was face to face with her dad. Letting a smile stretch onto her lips, she shrugged her shoulders a bit. âHi daddy.â she sang happily.
AlaricâS straight expression transformed into a smile the second she met his gaze. Oh, how she was the spitting image of her mother. âRaven-â He said and places his last boxes to the side. âCâmereâ He said and walks over quickly to pull her into a warm embrace.Â
Alaric || Izzy or Ben
âOf course you have,â Ben chuckled. âYou always do that. Itâs like you can never get yourself out of that history bubble, but it doesnât matter. No need to apologize⊠Holding up? Thatâs questionable⊠A lot of stuffâs been happening as of late.â
âYeah, I do, donât it? Bad habit, I suppose.â Alaric rubs his head. âYeah. You know you can talk to me to see whatâs going on in that head of your?â He says with a reassuring tone and look.
Alaric || Izzy or Ben
Izzy tried to act as if she cared about the history of Boston to not upset him, but after a while she couldnât keep up with her fake interest. By then, her father had already realized what he had come to and stopped. She smiled. âAt least you realized it before I fell asleep,â she chuckled, rubbing her eyes a little. Izzy wore a crop top that didnât exactly fully cover the enormous scar on her stomach, but she didnât mind. âItâs been pretty boring, but Iâve been training every other day. I honestly donât know what to do now that I donât go to schoolâŠâ she trailed off, shrugging. âHow was your trip? Donât answer with anything about the town, please,â she teased.
Alaric let out a small sigh as he leans back against the couch. âBut I appreciate you getting through it. Itâs a shame none of you kids appreciate the love I have of history.â he hums for a moment as he let himself think as she spoke. âHow about getting a job? Youâre a smart girl, Iz. Find something to do. Iâm sure there are a tone of jobs up for grabs that will interest you in one way or another.â The older Saltzman replies. âWell, uh---â The man starts but finds himself freezing as he was clearly going to ramble about a historical monument in town that wouldnât interest her in the slightest. âI met up with my best friends from high school.I hadnât seen them in ages, but they have come to see me when I was still in college.â
Alaric || Cristina
âYou could have told me where you were going, I would have understood. You just went.â
âI know, I know. Thatâs my fault and Iâm sorry. How are you stetttling into town? Made friends, I hope.â

Alaric had done it. Heâd managed to turn a fairly normal conversation, this time about how heâd been in his home state of Boston few days, into a lecture on the towns history and architecture which his kids probably didnât give a single crap about. He turned to look at his children and let out a small laugh. âIâve done it again, havenât I?â He shook his head at himself. The expression from his child's face said it all that heâd managed to bore them into oblivion. âSorryâ He quickly apologized. âHow have you been holding up since I took my short time off?â He asked in response.

âHey, Iâm sorry I took off like that but stuff in town was getting a little hectic for my regular liking. And last night jet-lag got the better of me. But your in luck, Iâm yours for the whole of today in attempt to make up for it.
