sorry for not being active or posting or responding to messages...
I wont lie, I spiraled big time...between feeling self conscious about my writings and drawings, some major changes are being made at work and I just doubted myself into oblivion of being incapable of anything remotely creative at the moment...
I even began doubting if I was ever a true fan of the rogues in the first place or of anything...if i just misunderstood everything or don't know what I'm doing or what I'm talking about ever...if I should have ever even started this blog...
And while I can't say I've shaken these thoughts I can say that I am okay...and just trying to be better but some days are harder than others and some days I just don't even have the energy to try even if I want to.
Needless to say I'm also just...unmotivated and uninspired to do much of anything so that's another thing...
No idea when I'll post anything but thanks for any and all who stick around and who understand. I always appreciate your guys understanding and support.

Jervis is practically over the moon when he hears you call him your partner/boyfriend.
He will likely ask you to say it again…and again…just to make sure his mind isn't playing any tricks…
Whether it's friend, partner, husband, boyfriend…he wears it like a milliner wears his most prized hat!
Sometimes it almost seems like he prefers you to call him by partner/boyfriend more than his own name!
Now…does this mean you're also his too? Can he call you his partner?

Don't be surprised if you almost see hearts in his eyes.
As much as he enjoys hearing you say his name…he revels whenever you call him your boyfriend or partner.
When he gets envious (and he does), he's especially the type to "casually" remind those he sees as a threat that HE is YOURS and YOU are HIS.
Which…he can say, right? He can call you his to others as well? Surely he can… (he totally may have done so already)
Jervis happily confirms his status with you if anyone ever inquires if he's your boyfriend/partner.
Now it's only a matter of time before he works his way up from being your boyfriend to being your husband…

Jervis looks over at you in surprise when he first hears you refer to him as your boyfriend/partner.
Your smile is all the confirmation he needs to know he heard you correctly.
He can't deny his fluttering heart—he feels as giddy as a child on Christmas morning.
When you two are alone, he'll ask when you made that decision…
He chuckles when you say after the third date when you kissed him on the cheek before the date ended.
Now, like his BTAS counterpart, he will start working on becoming your husband next.

Jervis immediately forgets what he's doing and turns his attention to you—

Jervis is practically vibrating with delight at the development—he basically forgets that he's supposed to be tormenting someone…
He honestly doesn't even care about them anymore and just wants to focus on this revelation.
Also, say it again, say who he is to you again…please.

Jervis beams at hearing you call him your boyfriend/partner.
Like HQTAS Hatter and Arkhamverse, he'd want you to say it again…tell him who he is to you.
He may even introduce himself as your boyfriend/partnet despite the fact you aren't even there!
Now Jervis will strive to be your…anything and everything else…anyone you need or want him to be (hopefully not your killer)
Just as long as you keep calling him yours…
Jervis will do what he can to prove he is worthy of such a status.

Edward almost doesn't even notice you, let alone you in the dress.
It isn't until he looked at you to tell you to leave him be did he finally see the dress.
You don't miss his eyes widening or him going uncharacteristically silent.
Between his silence and short quick glances up and down your body…you knew that he actually liked it.
Edward swallowed dryly, trying to maintain some form of composure.
It's nice…he supposes…but the designers couldn't be bothered to make a version of the dress in green?
Dano/Reevesverse Riddler
Instantly enamored and flustered by it.
Edward will begin to ask questions…just to buy time to gather his flustered nerves.
Such questions like; when did you get it? Where from? Is something special happening he needs to be aware of?
He's happy to hear you just got it for yourself…a little gift to treat yourself.
You deserve all the finer things in life…and anything your heart desires.
He hopes to be able to gift such things for you himself one day.
Gotham Riddler
Why, hello…
Shamelessly rakes his eyes up and down your body.
Mentally making notes of where your skin is exposed…where he'd have easy access.
Ed's walking circles around you if you aren't already twirling around to give him a 360 degree view.
He's already thinking about upcoming dates or events he could take you to so he can show you off in it.
It is a shame the dress doesn't come in green…but the black is stunning on you and it matches his lapels…so it works.

Edward Nygma.exe has stopped working.
His lower jaw is flapping but no sound or words are coming out.
When he does find his words, they're all compliments. How gorgeous, how radiant, how striking…
Eddie is also likely to inquire if there's some special occasion coming up warranting you to purchase this dress.
Whether there is or isn't one, Ed is still just looking at you in complete awe.
It just goes to show how you never cease to amaze him.

Well, when he asked for you to pick out a dress…he sure as hell wasn't expecting this…
While he does appreciate the compliments to your form and the tantalizingly revealing portions of open skin…
He also isn't entirely keen on the idea of you getting so much attention from this dress (especially if the attention is meant to be mostly on him.)
And don't act all modest, scoffing at his concern. You know damn well what you're doing…
Edward can't tell if he's frustrated or impressed by your tenacity.
One thing he can agree on is that it will look just as good on his bedroom floor as it does on you now.

One of the few Riddlers who would be down for either color.
When you step out from your doorway for your date with him in this number—it makes his eyebrows raise.
He somehow starts feeling a little overdressed or too casual.
Ed smirks asking where you've been hiding that dress…he chuckles when you say you just bought it just for him—to surprise him.
During the peaceful silent moments between you two at dinner…Ed's eyes can't help but linger where your skin is exposed…
You smile at Ed knowingly as his hand rested against your exposed thigh under the dinner table.

Not much stuns or silences Ed in his old age but you managed to do it this time.
Like other Riddlers before…he's curious to why you're dressing up…how long have you own such an article of clothing? Etc.
While Ed usually lets you do as you please…
He can't help but feel less than thrilled on the idea of you going out in such a revealing dress…especially without him.
Perhaps you should keep this dress just between you two…both figuratively and maybe even literally.

Definitely, internally screaming on the inside.
Face is a bright, bright red. His heart is having palpitations while his stomach is doing somersaults.
You were already too gorgeous for him to handle…in this dress—you're breathtaking…

His stuttering has also amplified tenfold as he tries to compliment you…

Hmm...any Jervis storyline...
I don't know how many of my followers or people who have read purely my Jervi stories know this but I have actually written a one-off for a fan made Hatter design and it was actually a lot of fun!
The fic is called "A Mad Lonesome Man Named Jervis Tetch" and it features a Mad Hatter designed by a beloved and talented mutual of mine @illustratedartist. I had always wanted to like...flesh out or write for an original Rogue design and her Hatter is among one of my favorite fan made Hatter designs of all time so it was an honor to get to bring him to life even in written form.
It was also fun playing around with the Cheshire cat and his dialogue, and it's no surprise if he gives off Cheshire cat from the American McGee games that was pretty intentional lol
