 Review: I really enjoyed reading this fanfiction, because it portrays the personality and the nature of Tom Riddle quite well. Right from the childhood, he’s definitely a troubled child, and he keeps changing homes until he’s finally accepted by the Grangers’ family, where he meets Hermione. Even though she dislikes him and his sadistic actions from the beginning, she still grows quite fond of him. The author does a good job portraying their relationship, and the characters manage to stay in character while interacting. The story is very well-written, and there are many meaningful moments that I would love to talk about, however I won’t spoil you if you haven’t read it yet. Definitely recommend this fanfiction.

{ tom riddle + hermione granger } “Granger, take a picture, it will last longer.” Tom glanced at her, while flipping through his book. “You know why.” She mumbled quietly, looking at him with an intense gaze. “I didn’t do anything to your ferret toy, if that’s what you’re wondering about.” He smiled innocently, but Hermione knew what was truly hiding behind it. He was trying to construct a perfect Head Boy image; a slytherin, who was well-mannered, charming and kind to his peers. Okay, maybe he was a little charming to her too. “Don’t try to lie to me, Riddle. Draco has been avoiding me for weeks, and when I finally cornered him about it...” Before she could finish her sentence, Tom pulled her harshly towards him, making her straddle his lap. “You were saying...?” His eyes flashed a little tint of red, and he started twirling her curly hair between his fingers. “...N-Nothing.” She finally realized that she slipped up - she wasn’t supposed to tell him that Draco told her anything, or let’s say, he’d have to keep sleeping in Room of Requirement unless he wanted to risk getting crucified by him. “Seems like you are quite fond of him, darling.” His lips turned upwards, as he started formulating a new plan.

His hand was grasping the wand in his pocket tightly, as he awaited for her answer. "T-Tom, I..." She mumbled quietly, which was barely audible in the chamber. "Well, care to enlighten me, Miss Granger?"
