Personally, I wish there was more companion banter overall with Wyll, Karlach, Halsin, Jaheira and Minsc and that's not just because I like taking these five out specifically at all times.

Because at the end of the day, Wyll is a son who misses his father - who wants his father, and that is all he has ever wanted when you get down to it.

Nothing in depth - Wyll wasn't exactly stagnant and moved around - and probably not even something he would look into. And he would have no reason to look deeper into it - he wouldn't know it was Wyll, how could he? But there's a pain in how Wyll may still exist on the fringe of his father's consciousness and he doesn't even know it.
