Being in a relationship when you have depression is great, cause you're not alone.

But having your partner's mood lessen to match your own is heartbreaking. And you feel like you can't feel your depression but just do your best to hide the fact that you're struggling.

Sometimes I miss being single just to have a day where I can stay in bed and it won't affect anyone else.

I have too many days where I feel broken and numb to justify another "mental health day"

Even as a kid, I thought God everyone can't possibly feel like this, right? This can't be normal? How does anyone do anything? Keep a job? Pass a class?

I've always tip toed on the line between normal functioning human being and useless pile of human garbage. I can't even imagine a day where I'm a contributing member to society.

Life feels like a really long and impossible feat some days.
