Ridge Clan is a comic/project following a clangen clan of the same name. The comic itself will be a combination of both story driven comic pages as well as moon update pages following an overarching story arc. The clan itself is loosely Greek/Roman/Medieval inspired. Standard WC TWs apply (blood, violence, animal death). Other TWs include: Abuse! Religion! Other things! I will do my best to tag and warn on the pages that very much feature triggering topics. (Please please please let me know if I miss any!)

There's about 27 moons currently planned, so we'll see how many pages that ends up being!

This is the first comic I've made so I'm excited to finally learn how to make 'em. I’ve wanted to get into comic making since I was a kid but so much got in the way that I never ended up committing to a big project. So, today is the day that starts! I hope you enjoy my sloppy attempt at a poorly planned warrior cats comic as much as I enjoy making it! Excited for this journey :D

Oy vey there's some major inconsistencies in the colors between all these pages. I'll have to spend some time correcting that soon. Luckily these most recent pages have pretty much been standardized. (The color change at the bottom is purposeful!)

Edit: I forgot Gold's cheekbones

I changed it up on this page and went back almost to almost exclusively using the more traditional linear-> coloring method versus the polygonal lasso tool like I had been before. I feel like it's faster for the style I'm going for... certainly feels like it!

I still used the lasso on the page though! I found that I liked everyone's markings better using the tool (and also... Lowpaw's tail I guess). There's shapes that are easier for me to achieve using the lasso versus traditional drawing. I kept trying to keep them separate but like.... I MAKE THE RULES SO I CAN DO WHAT I WANT.

It's been a while! The colors on this one are different from the last by a little bit... felt a little muddy with how blue everything was. We'll see if I change it later for consistencies sake

Edit: I fixed the colors :) not a major change but a change nonetheless

Anyway the first frame is probably my favorite. Love how Green turned out! Cranky grandpa man

been sitting there mostly finished for the past week........ started a post-grad thing that takes up literally my whole day during the week. Whether this comic goes on hiatus or not is yet to be seen. My hope is to get 1 page up every other Monday (so two weekends to work on a page) but we'll see what happens.

A few days late and a few dollars short but it's up! I thought I had a page ready to go on Thurs only to find out I didn't! I was able to get it done this week at least :)! No new page next week.

The symbols over the speech bubbles are something I rly like! Each is supposed to be recognizable as each cat even as a symbol. Goldsilk's sword symbol might be the hardest to recognize now, but that's his main weapon of choice! Spindlesun's is her chest diamond, and Greenstar is.... a green star. lol

Did something new with the backgrounds....might have to stick with it since it takes so much less time than the previous ones... We'll see :-)

Forgot this was uploading today!! It’s hard to tell but I did redo the art with the lasso tool… it’ll be easier to see in the coming pages!! Since this one is so similar to the original page I’m considering uploading a second page this weekend… but we’ll see how far I get on the pages I’m working on before I decide!!
