Hey, everyone,

I think it’s safe to say that this blog will no longer be active. I much prefer to use @wander-a-ways to post my photography now for a few reasons:

1) It’s separate from my main blog, so if I follow a photography blog, people will better understand why.

2) It’s much easier to remember the name and to say.

3) I do not have nearly as much attachment to the moniker Rienet Halun as I feel that the name no longer represents me.

If you would like to see more of my future photos, please follow me there! For now, I will leave this blog up so that people can still enjoy what I’ve shared so far.

An Unfortunate Situation

Hey, everyone,

It is unfortunate that I have to write this, but a situation has arisen with a user named Spectrum Heat/HS Network/realhsnetwork. I will not go into full detail myself, so the short version is that he has manipulated young women into relationships with him and more. If you want the long version, you can read the post by @koneko1999 (warning: discussions of grooming, manipulation, and more; read at your own discretion).

I write this because, some time ago, he had asked my permission to use a photo of mine in a music video he was making. I said yes, not knowing any of the above at the time. But now that I do know, I want to say this:

I DO NOT condone these actions, from him or from anyone. And I do not wish to be affiliated with him in any manner.

Do not harass him, and do not respond if he tries to reach out to you. Simply block him, report him if needed, and move on.

A New Blog

I have started a new photography blog called @wander-a-ways! Long story short, I wanted a photography blog that is separate from my main blog.

I will still continue to update this blog alongside @wander-a-ways, but I will be more active there for a while.

This photo was taken at an event called Battle for the Airfield. It is a recreation of a WWII battle, with reenactors playing American, British, and German soldiers. This Jeep was parked in the American camp before taking part in the battle.
