The Decision
Alright, after careful consideration last night and this morning I have come to a very important decision. I will not be ‘shutting down’ Sephyr’s blog, but I will be taking a semi-permanent hiatus on posting to it. I will also be shutting down every other role-playing blog I have, with the possible exception of one.
Now before you all climb on me saying I’m jumping the gun, I’m doing this for more reasons than ‘I got anon hate cry about it’.  To start with, this is not the first round of hate this blog and my opinions have seen. Let’s face it, we all have opinions and anyone brave enough to voice theirs, on ANY matter, not just trial ones, is demonized if it happens to run against the status quo. I have a lot of opinions that go against the standard accepted views and I will not sit back and be bullied for my opinion.
Tumblr presents itself as a welcoming community, but if there is someone who happens to fall outside the realm of what they’re looking for in a blogger, they become elitist and rude. If you are not lonely and sad like they are, you MUST be popular and therefore have no place on tumblr. I’m not a fan of this, and I hate watching people take hate for it. Tumblr, and role-playing especially is for everyone. People should stop being so elitist.
I am also leaving because having started my new job, I really have no time for Tumblr and at this point it’s becoming nothing more than stress I don’t need and a distraction from work and my life. It’s just a drain and at this point I need to focus on the things that really matter. I tried to come back and I’ll be honest, it’s not working out.
If you want my contact information, let me know, otherwise save anything you want off of my other blogs so I can set them to private. Understand they will be password protect so that should any of my characters ever be stolen, I will have prof I did it first.
