One of my biggest pet peeves is timeliness. I hate being late to anything. I get that things happen though and that’s why it’s nice when people keep you updated.

These days it’s so easy to send a “Hey Im running late” text. It’s the beauty of modern technology. That’s why it bugs me so much when people dont do even that.

It’s minimal effort that is required to send a text. It’s a way of showing that you value that persons time and you are making an effort to show up.

Our greatest commodity is time. We can’t ever get it back. If I put time into you it’s because I care about you or I value what you have to offer.

It’s disrespectful to keep someone waiting. It’s disrespectful to show up when you feel like it. It shows how little you matter to that person. If you don’t put in effort I really don’t see why I should.
