In the present scenario, there are varied forms of voting systems that could be applied. Some of the basic forms includes e-voting, i-voting, r-voting and m-voting. Electronic voting (e-voting) system is the process in which voting is done through electronic voting machines. Currently EVMs are used in India for conducting political elections. But many politicians have objected the reliability of electronic voting machines. Thus, there is need to bring online voting platform in light. Implementation of online medium will enable comfortable and easy voting process.
E-voting is the most common form of political elections and its online platform form has numerous advantages. The voting machine works by the use of electricity but if online medium is not opted then polling booths are needed for conducting the elections. Hence, there will be need of lot of manpower for conducting elections. These show us that there is only a slight technological development is introduced when e-voting system is used instead of paper ballots but still lot development is needed. So, there is definitely need to implement i-voting or m-voting system.

Another form of voting that could be applied in India is mobile voting. It is considered as one of the easiest form of voting system. Today, when mobile phone is common among citizens then conducting voting through it is quite easy. So, it won’t be a difficulty for an adult to vote by using their mobile phone and it will be helpful even for the voters.

• Mobile voting is considered as the easiest form of voting system as you will need just need a mobile phone for casting votes.
• If mobile phones are brought in for voting, then it can bring revolutionary changes.
• The voter can easily vote by using their mobile phones as either internet is used or cellular phones are used for voting.
