For those who don’t know the story behind this:

Before Maggie was born, Homer Simpson worked at the Nuclear Plant because he needed the money to pay for all the debt. So at the Ball in December they are awarding me with the Molly Pitcher Award :D 1Sgt called today..feeling pretty honored.

I really hate reading that people have such a problem with eating weather its not eating, throwing it up, or binge-purge. Ive had friends who had these problems and I myself had this problem. They had support or like me stopped on their own because they had the strength to stop. Im not saying people are weak i just feel like people dont actually WANT to stop. It makes them feel good in a way like a drug would, just temporary but its there. My battle only lasted 4 months then about a year after that is when i was eating normally again. I didnt eat anything for 4 months yes people battle anorexia longer but I literally ate nothing for 4 months only drank water to keep my alive. At 4 months i had a mint or two because it was the start of the end. I was lightheaded, i couldnt walk straight and the final straw was falling on my face while walking down the hallway at work and my boss found me. I was determined to stop and yes it was hard food disgusted me at that point so i started small, drinking juice. I worked my way up to tuna and rice and cereal. I went from 175 to some where in the low 120s i didnt weight myself until after i was eating gaining weight and i was at 128 then when i was fully recovered, since i took my frustrations out with drinking and partying which made me keep my weight down for some time, i comfortably was at 135. Its a battle with yourself and its trying to kill you. So please keep fighting it really only gets better.

I guess im just weird or maybe my brain is retarded but i dont get this milso shit. My husband even got upset with me because i wouldnt cry or be upset that he was deployed. I never bothered him with my problems i knew he had it worse than me. He never understood that it my mind he never left. He was coming home later. He would be in my arms later. He had the most amazing people watching his back. I treat them like they were my sons and they know im big sister. I help my soldier with anything he needs. I make sure he returns to a clean beautiful home. I make sure everything is paid and on time. Surprise him with coffee or other goodies. Pack extra in his CQ or staff duty cooler so if needed he can share. We help our fellow soldiers in anyway he can when we see them struggling. Even if its just to listen, we patiently listen til 3 in the morning. I am fully involved in the frg and battalion events because well it doesnt hurt to make him look good after hours. I helped him with his classes to make points. Only thing i expect from him is to come home, relax, play with our amazingly smart and beautiful 9 month old daughter until food is ready and we eat. I put her to bed give him a massage if asked for then kick some ass in some video games. I do everything because i love him and he works hard and deserves it. He is my super hero and i tell him that everyday. If that makes me a milso then let me ride away on my high horse bitches!
