| Autumn | Bilbo, Thorin & Frodo
"Adopted???" Thorin frowned, Bilbo never was one for asking permission from him, he should have known that adopting a child too, would be handled in such a manner. But, he did remind him of himself, with the dark hair and bright eyes, but very, very clearly a little hobbit.
When young Frodo spoke, Thorin clutched at his own chest. That soft voice had stirred in him the same emotion as the day he’d held baby Kili in his arms. "Hello…Frodo." He smiled and eased himself down onto his knees, leaning heavily on the crutch. "It is a pleasure to meet you, young Frodo."
Bilbo took a step back to remove himself - even if only slightly - from the situation. Allowing the two to make their own introductions. It was quite impossible for him not to smile; the walk home had been long and he had been weighed down by the decision that he had had to make. Though he and Thorin would definitely have to talk about it later (and he was bound to be asked why he had made such a decision entirely on his own), it didn’t seem to be a problem in that very moment. There had been a hundred different scenarios in Bilbo’s head, and this was possibly best-case.
"I’m sure you two will be great friends." He said, mostly aimed at Frodo.
Frodo felt a bit uneasy - though not because of the current situation. It was fun meeting new people... or well, it could be. However, Thorin was the strangest-looking Hobbit he had ever seen. That fact helped Frodo through the event, so that he would not get scared. That, and that Bilbo wasn't too far from him -Â he could always hide behind him if anything happened... The little Hobbit didn't deem it likely that he would get frightened, though. The smallest of smiles grazed his lips as the other kneeled, leaning onto some sort of stick. However, the smile vanished almost the moment it had appeared out of embarrassment. There was nothing to be embarrassed about at all, but still, he was, and almost didn't hear what his 'uncle' had said.
