I love this review published in Siouxsie and the Banshee's Hyaena CD that suggests that Siouxsie's guitarists were vanishing one-by-one into a devouring fog that surrounded the group wherever they went.
I love Lewis Carroll's Alice, his Jabberwocky poem in particular. There are many nice Jabberwock illustrations, but the thing that really makes the Jabberwock special, and that many artists miss, is that John Tenniel drew it wearing a waistcoat and spats. It's a gentleman.
Gary Gygax had a few kind words for the special effects and story line of The Sword & the Sorcerer in his mostly negative review, but I don't know if he ever commented on the trailer, in which the voiceover promises you will see "dungeons and dragons" among other things.
This movie stars Richard Lynch as the villain. Richard Lynch did a signing next to me at a convention in New Jersey in 2012, about a month before he passed away in his home (he was 72). At one point during the signing, he looked over at my table, saw my prints, and said, “Hey, Rick! What’s a ‘voice of GIR?’ That a cartoon or something? Like a Mr. Magoo?” I said, yes.
Took him to a lab to have him analyzed and the results came back 100% ham.
I gave my D&D players magical dogs to hang out with and I think it's the best decision I've ever made as a DM. But now I have to remember to always add a dog park when I build a town.

Probably my favorite comic strip I ever made with Tavisha.
