Childhood Crush || Margaery And Riley

“Wouldn’t be surprised at all,” she agreed. She knew the siblings’ relationship, and while she was curious to hear what the woman had explained about how she had learnt of the open place, she had no troubles to believe she wouldn’t have mentioned her on purpose. She walked into the kitchen to place the food and the drink onto the table, shaking her head a little. “That was no trouble at all,” Margaery assured. There was an amazing pizza place just nearby, and she was actually a little bored this afternoon. Plus hungry herself, definitely hungry.
She busied herself with opening the pizza boxes, shrugging at the question. “I’ve been well, very well actually. I’ve liked it here, I have no problems with believing that you’re going to enjoy it around here. Of course the work usually keeps me pretty busy… but I’m having a really slow day off, and I can’t think of any better way to spend it than with some delicious pizza.” Margaery smiled at him as she leaned briefly against the table. “How about you, how have you been?”
Riley chuckled glad to have someone to talk to who knew his sister and him so well. “She never could resist a good opportunity to pull something over on me.” He said reminiscing about earlier times. He shook his head out of his reverie to bring himself back to the present. “Still, I really appreciate it after such a long day of moving. I didn’t want my parents to stay too late since they still had to drive.” He hated how boring he must have sounded making this kind of small talk, but his nerves were getting the best of him again. She had become even more beautiful now than when he knew her from when he was younger, if that was even possible.
He nodded his head, listening intently as he grabbed a slice of pizza. “That’s great to hear. I think I have to agree with your assessment if this pizza is anything to go by.” He grinned happily as he took a seat, passing out some napkins for them. “I’ve been great. I got a job right after graduating so I can’t complain. I was a little worried I wouldn’t know anyone, which made finding out you are here that much better of a surprise.” He hoped he didn’t sound too clingy with that statement, but it kind of slipped out before he could take it back.
