Effy heard the door opening and clutched the sheet tighter to her chest as she looked up in surprise. Birthday Blues 5/25/18 || Open

She perched herself on a rock along the shoreline of the beach. The waves crashed along the shore and a cool breeze blew her hair back. In her hand, was her collar. Was it wrong to have worked her way into Jacksons home? Probably. But she didn’t care. It was her birthday and dammit, she wanted to be in his presence. Since she couldn’t, she made her way into their home. Not staying too long, she found the only thing she wanted aside from her dogs, who weren’t there anymore. So here she sat, moving the collar around in her hand, claws having come out as her emotions heightened. 

As she heard noise, someone making their way through the sand and towards her, Maks eyes glowed slightly, not leaving the view of the ocean. “This rock’s taken..”

Then I’ll just sit right here on the ground then.” He snorted as he proceeded to sit down where he was just because he could. “What you doing all the way out here looking out to the ocean all dramatic like that? This is like.. a scene from a movie or something, y’know? I mean, it’s cool and all.. but maaaaaan it’s kinda cold.” He had a bucket in his hand and was now shoveling sand into it.

Ode to Myself

It took some time but Felicity’s home was nearly complete. There had been little time to socialize in the vampires eyes. Her main priority was to plant her roots and having her home just as she wanted it was a must. Deciding she should celebrate, the blonde had picked up a bottle of wine and found a nearby bench. She didn’t like going to bars alone and she felt it was silly to just go back home so soon, especially without company.

Martie hadn’t swam laps in a while, but it came back to her as if second nature. There was no denying that there were perks to being a wolf with supernatural abilities. As they reached the end she straightened up and pushed her hair out of her face with a grin, hardly phased by the workout. She laughed softly at his words and shook her head. “Don’t worry, you don’t look that bad.” She teased with a wink. “Now to pick out my prize…” She mused, tapping her chin as if trying to decide what to go with. “Why don’t we just stick with your plan and you can take me to dinner.” She suggested. 

"Pft, says the one who isn’t even breaking a sweat, and just came out of the water like a freaking mermaid. Like, you’re not ” He laughed as he ruffled his own hair, letting water splash all over the place. “Really? I still get to score a dinner with you? Suhweeeet!” He’d pump his fist but he was too tired for that. “What do you like? Italian? Vietnamese? Sushi? Oh man, does this city even have an all you can eat buffet? A little bit of everything.”
