The 92Y Unterberg Poetry Center’s Christopher Lightfoot Walker Literature Project invites NYC public high school students to connect with literature by attending Poetry Center readings and meeting featured authors. In this video I directed, students met with poets Cathy Park Hong and Nathaniel Mackey. It was an honor and a privilege to hear these two brilliant writers talk about their lives as artists, and encouraging to watch these students interact with their work in this way.

My grandma taught me to always pack a swimsuit and never turn down an adventure. I made this video for her on the occasion of her 90th birthday. She just turned 91 and I realized I hadn’t yet released it online. So here it is.

Bill walked every block of all five boroughs of New York City and Matt is currently doing the same. I had a lot of fun walking with them through lesser-known parts of the city and learning about their unique approaches to the same crazy endeavor. The two had never met before, but when we introduced them they hit it off like old friends.
