A/N: Ahh!! This one was so fun to write. Sorry it took so long. I had to go back and rewrite it almost entirely, as I felt there was a different direction I could take with this one, and I’m grateful that I did! 

I listened to this song over and over again while writing it.

It started with Brenda from the back of the classroom.

Riley and Farkle were in the middle of a chemistry lab, when a note landed in Riley’s lap, addressed to Farkle. At first, all she could do was stare at it. Farkle had never gotten a note before – from anyone. 

“Hey Riley, could you start working on the math? I’ll wrap up this up,” he said, holding up a test tube. He saw the note in her hands and scrunched his eyebrows, “What’s that? Is it from that Trevor guy you’ve been talking to?” She shook her head.

Is the 'deepest feelings I've known' really important to riarkle?

I believe so. Farkle and Riley have the most understanding and caring relationship in the show (in my opinion). It reminds me of STEM when their beaker was clear while everyone else couldn’t see each other. Lucas saying this also reminds me of Upstate when he told Farkle he made a choice. It’s pretty clear that Farkle doesn’t treat Riley and Maya equally. And it’s clear that Riley and Farkle care for each other more than they care for anyone else. Everyone can see that, except them.

The fact Farkle is using science, and a hypothesis to figure out his feelings for his gf should scream “Are feelings stronger then science?” He still figuring out who he is, and what he wants. Anything can change in a moment. :)

Farkle and stepping back

To all the Rucas shippers who said Farkle couldn’t have had feelings for Riley, because he was pushing her to Lucas. In GM Sweet 16 farkle said he would step back if smackle had feelings for Lucas, and since he currently has feelings for smackle, that proves that he could have done the same thing for Riley during the Texas and the triangle.

If the show does not go forward, I have this little thing on Twitter I’ve had fun with… You would probably, at some point, hear what at least I had in mind, in some summation or wrap up, if it doesn’t go forward. I have no doubt that they were building towards Riarkle. Sorry Rucas fans, Riley being with lucas(and smarkle) was just a step toward Riley and Farkle eventually falling in love.
