Her smile is so precious ❤(◕‿◕✿)
Her reaction was over the top and honestly, it was pure gold. “Calm down, I would’ve told you immediately if there was a test.” He reassured her, trying to stifle his laugh. It was hard for him to do so, as he wasn’t used to seeing someone panic as much over a test before. “And well, yes. We were supposed to go shopping then make the pastries. But hopefully we won’t fail as hard.”
Her ears perked up upon hearing the word hard. "So tell me Emrys, why are we even going to try if we already know we're going to fail eventually" she laughed upon questioning him, she wasn't really expecting him to answer the question, it was more of a joke rather than a question. "Well, do you have the list of ingredients? I'm almost finished with my homework, i'm just going to pass this then we can go. Have you passed your homework already?" she finally pulled her homework from her bag, answering the few set of questions that was left unanswered.
funny the way it is;
"I’m saying, I’m not your brother!" Frustration clearly hinted in his yell, he kept wriggling in the other’s deathly hold. Never ever he felt this repulsed by a hug before; such affection he used to crave when he was younger - no, it wasn’t just anyone he wanted a hug from. Not this stranger who’s hugging him tenaciously. He needed to end this before he dies of goosebumps from a hug (exaggeration shows how much he hates a bear hug from a stranger), he thought. Hands grabbing the other’s arms in a lock, he unwittingly exerted all of his strength to turn over and thus bringing the other down with him to the depths of Tartarus - in actuality, it was just the ordinary floor but it was enough to inflict terrible pain on his tail bone when they fell to the floor with a thud.
All she remembered was she was just hugging her brother, her legs and arms were wrapped on him as if he was a pillow but with a series turn of events that happened so quickly, she just found herself on the floor. The impact left a subtle pain on her sides, “Yah! What the hell are you doing—if you wanted to play wrestling you should’ve said so! Now, feel my wrath!” she was ready to grab the other—but instead her hands snaked into his sides, attempting to tickle him instead. “I was kidding, I don’t want to wrestle with you, I am not match!” Now, that was Riley’s kind of wrath.
If eye rolls were measured by size, the one that Jamie just did would’ve been her biggest yet. For some reason, she had already forgotten what they were talking about in the first place. All she knew was that this argument was getting pretty stupid. “Whatever floats your boat, Riley.”
“Hey, you’re no fun. Not fair!” she pouted, narrowing her eyes at her before turning to leave the girl alone, walking away. Maybe she should try again next time.

Jamie, obviously annoyed by pretty much everything that Riley’s said so far, raised her arms. “Okay, you know what?” She banged her hands back down on to her desk (quite lightly so as not to disturb the others), and stood up. She glared down towards Riley without saying a word. She excused herself from the room. Turning back to face Riley before completely disappearing from her view, she glared at her once more.
She blinked, eyebrows furrowing at the sight of Jamie leaving. “W—what?” she looked at her, dumbfounded. She was definitely expecting something from her, some more teasing, more annoying words from her, but she got none. Instead, she got a glare. Riley wanted to ask what just happened, did she said something out of the line? She sighed heavily, letting the girl leave as she did not want to leave in the middle of the class. Besides, she’ll be fine. She’s probably used to their petty arguments anyway. Maybe she should just approach her after a few days.

riley_pan eww look who's here. :P
"Don’t panic." He chuckled, reaching to pat her head as a gesture for her to stop and calm down. "We don’t have an exam. I was talking about our little outing later." He noted, huffing as he crossed his arms. So she really did forget, he thought, pursing his lips as an attempt to seem down about the news. He didn’t really mind, though, since he was able to remind her before venturing out of the Academy alone and probably getting lost. “Remember now?”
Riley sighed in relief. "Oh god i am so going to kill you Emrys!" She narrowed her eyes at him. "You should have said it already! Stop giving me unfinished phrases, you're giving me heart attacks!" She sat comfortably on her seat, finally starting to calm down -- then only to realize what was he talking about. Her mouth suddenly went into an 'o' shape. "Oh my god! I'm sorry-- i did forgot about it. Were you talking about that baking session you mentioned the other day? That session where we'll be going to make a cream puff and probably fail on it?"
For someone reason, with the description she gives of Jack Jack, she thinks of James all of a sudden, him being in a puppy form and going around bothering people. Not too different from how he was like every single day though it has gotten awfully quiet once more. “I’m Elena Rabbit. You are a fourth year like me, right? I think I have seen you a number of times at the dorms but only gotten the chance to talk to you now. I heard that it has not been too long since you arrived at the school so, here is a belated welcome.”
"I'm Riley Pan, and yes i am a fourth year as well." she gave the girl a delighted smile--it was her first time hearing a welcome from her co-students and she was more than happy to hear it the first time. "Thank you for the welcome." she still had that silly smile of hers as she playfully bowed like a gentleman. She wanted to ask about her siblings, whether Elena know them personally-- just out of curiosity. But as she looked at the time, she was surprised as to how time flies by so fast. She was already late for her next subject. "I'm sorry but i need to go to my next class now. It was nice knowing you Elena. We will surely talk some other time. Feel free to visit Jack jack if you wanted. Farewell!" she bowed gracefully once more, waving goodbye as she was walking away.

"That’s not fair. No take backs." Jamie puffed her cheeks out, making her look kind of like a chipmunk. Placing her hands on her hips, she furrowed her brows. "Don’t be a meanie. And it’s not my fault you were staring at me. You should learn how to concentrate." She points at the other girl’s notebook, emphasizing the word ‘concentrate’.
"You never said the no take backs policy before so i am taking it back. Sorry not sorry." Riley could not help to give the girl a triumphant grin as if she was already claiming her victory over this petty argument they were having--but her triumphant grin suddenly disappeared... What... She was still passing it to Riley-- that thing Jamie originally did. She frustratingly scratched her head. "I did not--" She sighed for the nth time. "Oh yeah right you definitely mastered the art of concentrating because you were good at concentrating in staring at me earlier. You should teach me sometimes." She shrugged nonchalantly.
Jamie poked at the other girl’s nose while she said, “No. You. Don’t!” A quick flip of her hair is all she needs to show that the other girl didn’t really mean this. “My hair’s too pretty. That’s what makes me say so.”
Riley sighed. "What part of yes i do didn't you get?" she rolled her eyes upon seeing her hair flip. She noticed the obvious show off Jamie just did. "Who says so? You? I'm guessing you're the only one who said that. Don't worry, we'll get your eye checked next time." she patted the girl's head a mocking way, a smirk tugging across her lips as she crossed her arms on her chest.
Seeing the price made Emrys cringe. He wasn’t as rich as he’d like to be, spending far too much on moving and clothing and exhausting his money reserves. He needed to get a part time job, and he knew it. That or ask for money from his father and he’d rather rot than do so. “I’ll probably just get one.” He sighed, getting out his wallet and heading to the counter. “Make sure you don’t get a stomach ache, ok?”
She blinked, guilt striking her after she heard he was getting only one. Should she feel ashamed of getting four dozens? She bit her bottom lip upon taking the four dozens, pulling out one dozen and giving it to the boy. "Don't say i never gave you anything." she stuck her tongue out playfully before waving goodbye. "See you around, Emrys."

hammer time!
"I hope you go bald!"
"No, you don’t." They were having some petty argument yet again and Jamie’s main goal was just to annoy Riley to no end. "Not really."
"Yes, i do!" Riley acted like she actually mean it, giving emphasis on each words she said. “Oh really? What makes you say so?” she raised a brow.
"Hey, I wasn’t the one who said I was pretty so don’t blame me if you’re so annoyed." Fixing her hair into a ponytail, she turned to the girl. She smiled as if she knew someone’s secret. Patting her own cheeks lightly, she said, "Do I look okay, Riley?" She thought it was funny to taunt her like that.
"I take back what i said!" Somehow, she actually thought it was over after she accepted her defeat... but it turned out the opposite. Or worse, Jamie even grabbed the opportunity to taunt her more. She scratched her head in frustration. "No. You don't." she did not even dare to look at her. "You know, if i fail the next exam. I would so going to blame you.
