Pictures of my updated TARDIS-dress!!

There’s so many things you can see in the pictures. For example I glued soe decorative stones to the sleeves and the lining on top of the stars and they sparked nicely in the stage.

I also embroidered some physics equations to the hem and made a new necklace/choker thing with the TARDIS key.

I won third place in the design contest at Popcult Helsinki.

I got the official contestant pictures back from the Finnish Cosplay Championships and I’m so happy with how they look. Even though we only had a plain wall to work with.

Also I finally did this version of Sera after planning it for more than a year.

And at this point I realise I never shared any pictures of my cosplay from the last Finnish Cosplay Championships. The reason is that I have very few and my performance didn’t photograph very well.

I upgraded my Yue cosplay with a new belt, wig and sleeves along with revamping the dress to fit me better. I also added lights in form of hairpins and EL wire but the batteries died as the day went on.

I’ve yet to see anyone cosplay this version of Ursula/Chariot. It’s understandable as the reference pics took a lot of effort to get.

Last ones for now. These ones have more expressions in them and all but last one were taken during my actual performance. (Yup. That’s Swords and Shields. I wanted to include an inside joke in the performance) My performance is in this stream after 1 h 34 min. I commissioned the voice acting from @totalspiffage and I was so excited when I heard it the first time. She did such an amazing job with it!

First batch of upcoming Morrigan spam! This cosplay took so long but I’m so satisfied with it even though it’s my first cosplay that decided to break at the day of the con (and competition) the glue failed on the buckles I had in my boots and they fell on the floor and I must have stepped on them and they broke. Good thing it happened AFTER the judging! Didn’t get to represent Finland at NCC this time but I have two more chances to be one of the three representatives.

This costume has 31 individual belt pieces at the skirt and more grommets than I want to count (i approximate around more than 100). The necklace was a huge process but I love it the most. This costume also makes no goddamn sense. That sleeve is held up by silicone band because it literally attaches to nothing. Like honestly Bioware and their damn character design will be the death of me.

also an addendum to the hunger games slide, when they put out a casting call for the role of Katniss, they specifically asked for only caucasian actors to audition, which left out any possibility for any amazing PoC actors to have been discovered.

I made the wig but my fabrics didn’t arrive in time for the con so I had to improvise. Thankfully this fandom likes it’s crossover AUs and I happened to had my Howl cosplay from when I cosplayed with my grandma.
