Hi :) I was wondering how you create a navigation page like the one you have for your Legacy challenge

Hello!! ♥

When you edit your theme at the very bottom of navigation you can find Add a page

You get this:

1. Here you can decide if you want to use Standard Layout or Custom Layout.

2. Here you write your page url. For my legacy it looks like this:

Standard Layout will “match” your current theme - it’s mostly a simple page that looks like your posts.

To edit it you can write the title (Lorem ipsum for me) in 3 and the text (where you can put your legacy links, etc.) in 4.

You can edit it in this white blank sheet format or in html but it requires more knowledge how links, paragraphs, and generally everything “stylish” work (it takes some time to learn but it’s not too hard !!)

In Custom Layout you get this:

And you put your html code in Custom HTML.

Once again, it requires some html knowledge but we all have been there and it’s easy once you try it yourself :)

Here you can find great tutorials of how to customize it and basically what is what. Here are some nice page themes and here are the categories for them.

Once you decide which theme you want to use, you simply copy-paste the code in Custom HTML.

ALSO !! The best trick I’ve learnt while editing tumblr theme is that it shows you where your section begins and where it ends. You click on the text between < > and voila!! The light grey border appears on the closing tag (but it doesn’t appear for since it hasn’t have closing tag).

It’s very helpful because if everything works but then one section jumps randomly in different places and you have no idea what caused that - you probably deleted at the end of your section.

More Coffee Shop AUs

Person A starts to frequent a different coffee shop and the barista, Person B, seems to remember every single customer's order - but they always ask Person A again and again what they want.

Person A hates to change their plans. So when someone sits at their usual table at their favourite coffee shop they simply cannot sit somewhere else, so they just sit down right next to them.

Person A wants to spend more time talking to Person B, the barista, but they just start to become annoyed by Person A's order that becomes more and more ridiculous.

Person A always saves a cupcake for their favourite customer, Person B, no matter how late in the day they stop by.

Person A is a really great at doing latte art and they desperately want to impress their crush, Person B, with it. Unfortunately, they always order tea, so they have to get creative.

Person A is finally brave enough to write down their number on their favourite customer's drink - but they were so nervous, they switched the drinks.

The coffee shop is inside a book store and Person A, the barista, always give Person B, the bookseller, their favourite coffee, while Person B gives them book reccomendations and when it's really slow, they read to them.
