He’s mostly on Twitter because that’s where all the stupid AI bros are. The fact that he’s still liking Pro AI posts that are claiming that everyone “overreacted” is very telling.

Watching him throw his legacy down the toilet in favor of AI is disappointing, but at the end of the day, he made his choice.

His “apology” wasn’t genuine and I wouldn’t be surprised if he tried to get involved in another AI related project down the line.

To be clear, I’m not angry at Jorge R. Gutierrez , I’m just really fucking disappointed.

He’s one of the few POC creators I can think of who really made it big in the western animation industry. I mean, for fuck’s sake, the man created his own shared universe while working for various different companies.

During the pandemic, I would listen to various interviews he’d done over the years to stay creatively motivated during a really dark period of my life. No lie, I could listen to him ramble on for hours about animation, his passion and love for the medium are that infectious.

So watching him sell his soul to Amazon is really heartbreaking.

He had no issue with dunking on AI and greedy studios two years ago, but now he’s championing AI because he’s a corporate sellout.

Oh, and the fact that he’s using his wife and son as human shields is really fucking gross. I agree that they shouldn’t be harassed, but name dropping them to play the victim is just super scummy.

And I was really hyped for El Guapo, I, Chihuahua and Speedy Gonzalez. But now I don’t want to touch any of this man’s projects with a twenty foot pole.

I know I say this a lot, but man, is it ever goddamn frustrating being a person of color who likes nerdy shit online.

While I do think the hate she's been getting regarding the leaks is unacceptable, I truly wish she formulated a better response.

Like yeah, no fucking shit the show became bigger than you, each episode was raking in 100 million views. People who aren't familiar with the show know who these characters are, Glitch built their entire brand around the show.
