Introduction to Gorgeous (Claire Redfield wlw)
This is very short, since it is only the introduction, but I hope you still like it.
Warnings:
not proofread, light angst, fluff, light smut, masturbating, mention of kissing
You and Claire had been best friends since childhood. She has always been there for you, no matter what. The two of you would argue and then make up ten minutes later because you couldn't stand not talking to one another. It was a perfect friendship. Not to mention, this friendship was more intense than any relationship could ever be. You would constantly tell each other how much you loved one another, hug, cuddle and, yes, practice kissing when you were teenagers. Now, as grown women, you have stopped doing that, though sometimes you'd wish that the two of you would still do that. Little did you know that Claire wanted that as well. She has been hiding the fact that she was bisexual from you for years now, just like you had hidden your lesbianism from her. You would justify your feelings for her by telling yourself that she had always been there for you. Claire had been your light in the darkness, your rock, your best friend for many years, and she would always support you, no matter what. You weren't to blame for falling in love with your gorgeous best friend, were you? On some lonely nights, you would think about the girl you were deeply infatuated, no, in love with and these thoughts would wander. In fact, sometimes they'd wonder so far, that you would barely notice your fingers slipping past your pajama bottoms. "Claire!", you'd cry out desperately as you came onto your trembling fingers, just before realizing what you had done. It ended like this every time. Waves of shame quickly washed over you, and you quickly became very disgusted with yourself, as always. "She's my best friend, and she's straight… What the hell is wrong with me?" you'd ask yourself these nights, before crying yourself to sleep. Claire suffered in the same way, just like you. When she was not occupied by someone or something, her thoughts would drift towards you, sweet, gorgeous, kind, lovely you. Not only did the young woman admire you as a person, but also your looks. To her, you were gorgeous. The feeling of helpless love was mutual. Just like you did, Claire would secretly hope for you to make a move, even though she had thought that you were not in the slightest interested in her. To drown her sorrows and heartache, she would hook up with random men and then tell you about it, which, of course, made you think she did not love you the way you loved her. The entire situation could only be described as a vicious circle.
