The first time I found out about Wukong was from the movie The Forbidden Kingdom when I watched it on TV many years ago as a child. Wukong is my favorite character because I have known him since childhood. But he became my fav after i watched lmk.

after i read the chapter with the macaque in the book my feelings about shadowpeach changed now i feel anxious, why do i forget the fact that the book and lmk are different.

in the book macaque is just an enemy and his evil reflection for wukong, but in lmk he is his best friend and sworn brother.

such a big difference.

when I watched lmk I thought it was a retelling of the book, but it's not, I'm so naive 😭💔

in monkey king 2009 they are also brothers, it's come from this?

(upd.) the fact that they are brothers is a fiction based on the fact that wukong became brothers with the demon macaque but that macaque is not a six-eared macaque (I'm actually confused)
