one thing i appreciate is when, in certain romance media, a character will confess with no intetion for their feelings to be reciprocated.

the point of their confession is for the other to know how they are feeling. to let their feelings out. and recently, ive come to completely understand this feeling.

you dont even care so much how they other may or may not react, but more so you want, you need them to know how you feel.

its suffocating, love. and its hard to express, even for someone like myself, who is having this feeling surrounding platonic love.

just. you smile seeing them. you want to talk to them more. you want to treat them. you want to hug and hold hands and play with their hair and you want to appreciate them because theyre you're dearest friend. and you love them.

but the issue is lacking the ability to express that, without coming across as creepy
