Well, I probably should have announced this months ago, but I never really got around to it. So now’s a good time to go ahead and officially announce my retirement from RP for now.Though, I’m not sure how many of you are still active or follow me, so idk how many of you will see this, but

I say ‘for now’ because obviously, with the way my work schedule combined with personal things, and my lack of a personal computer, I just don’t have the time to sit down and RP for long periods of time like I used to.

When I can afford a new laptop, I’d be very glad to revisit and revamp this blog. Rita Mordio is one of the Tales characters dearest to me, and its been an absolute pleasure being able to RP as her. I related to Rita and she’s a very powerful presence in my heart. So it was wonderful being able to channel her through Tumblr.

I had a lot of great times, laughs, feels, and just… a wonderful experience. You guys were some of the best RP partners I’ve ever had, and it was a lot of fun. From crack memes, to super-serious feels, games of Cards Against Humanity, Skype shenanigans, and even some of the RPs we couldn’t quite get around to finishing or starting fully…. I’ve had a really great time. And I’m really glad I was able to spend my free time hanging out with such a lively bunch!

So anyway, I know I’ve been inactive for months now, but I just wanted to make it official. I’m keeping the blog because as I said, I DO want to return someday when I have the time and ability. So this isn’t the end! If anyone happens to be around by then who’d want to RP with me, that is! I don’t know when that’ll be, but someday…

So thanks, to all of you who RPed with me, followed me, became my friend, watched the antics of this anti-social, Blastia loving mage. Of course, there are a few of you I’ll never forget!

talesofidiots, you guys were the reason I started this blog in the first place. It was so much fun RPing with you all! I’m sorry I couldn’t give you all as much time when things started to get busy, but I have a lot of fond memories thanks to this group! Our crack RP sessions were awesome, and you were all a really fun community to chill with. I thank you all very much for giving me plenty of things to look back and smile about.

blastiabane... Man, I have so much I wanna say! But I’m trying to keep this short! I’ll never forget asshole siblings! We’ll revive them someday! You’ll always be the one and only Zagi to me! You’re one of my best friends, and I miss you! I should really text you sometime, because you’re a really awesome guy, and I love talking to you! doctorjudemathis, you’re one of the best Judes I’ve Ever RPed with. I’ll never forget our cutie dorks! Zeno, you’re really cool and fun, and it’s always a pleasure talking with you! I’m really shy, so that’s why I don’t message you (or really anyone on here much) over Skype, but I need to break that habit because I miss you! Thanks for giving me Rita/Jude feels! And for always being there so I could text you while I was at work, ahaha!

reidhershelrp, my eternal Eternia friend! We still talk every now and then, and I’m happy about this! I had a lot of fun RPing with you, you always gave me something to look farward to! And you’ve always been a great friend! Thanks for always being there for me to chat with! ^^

novelisticartist, you’re one of my best friends, even though we don’t talk much! Though that’s my fault, because I’m so damn shy! But you’re one of the swetest people I’ve ever met, and I absolutely adore Erika. Her and Rita’s friendship is still one of my favorite things, and I hope we can RP together again someday. Thank for always being there for me when I was down. I’ll message you sometime, Cupcake Girl!

I think that’s everyone, I’m sorry if I didn’t point anyone in particular out, but those are just a few close to my heart. If I called everyone out, this post would be suuuuper long, and I just don’t have the time! So thank you all!! Thank you all for giving my Rita the time of day, and so many memories to look back on! Like I said, this isn’t the end! I’ll never stop loving Tales, or Rita, or writing! I’ll return… someday!

Rita tends to mumble a lot, especially when she prefers to keep her thoughts to herself. She mumbles and speaks quietly without really thinking of anyone overhearing her. Depending on the situation, she prefers to keep her thoughts to herself. Aside from the mumbling, when the time comes she does make a point of trying to get her thoughts across clearly if she's sharing them with other people. She just becomes frustrated if there is a lack of understanding, whether it be from not understanding it herself, or if the can't properly get the point across to others.

8. Are they a quick thinker or do they need time to sort through their thoughts?

It really depends on the situation. In some cases, Rita's mind works quickly and she's able to make snap decisions which she usually doesn't regret. Other times she ends up needing a bit more time to think, and might have a habit of over thinking things.

The splash of crimson nearly blended in with Rita’s robe, and the liquid was sickeningly warm on her flesh. It didn’t feel real to her at first— her mind moving slowly, as if she’s in some sort of dream.

He had just… taken the bullet. For her.

When Raven stumbles back, Rita snaps into action— catching him before he hits the ground, but he’s heavier than her and she stumbles, nearly falling backwards. She drops to her knees, holding his head in her lap and staring down at him in distress.

He’s bleeding— badly— and they don’t have much time. The people hunting them wouldn’t be far behind, and she knows they can’t sit around forever. Rita’s eyes are already watering up, and she knows that soon it’ll be time to say good bye to him forever.

"No. No, old man— Raven— please." She presses her hand to his wound in vain, and part of her thinks that its amazing that he can still bleed like this, despite having an artificial heart. Her tears are falling rapidly now, hitting his face.

It should have been her.

He was always telling her to be careful. Whether he said in in a joking way, or when he would truly get angry and scold her, she must’ve heard it a hundred times.

And she had been careless, and now he was paying the ultimate price for it.

She could see the look in his eyes. His breathing was ragged, and he could hardly speak. But even then, his stern look could kill her right then and there. But Rita tried to steel herself.

"I’m not going anywhere. Not yet."

She could hear the footsteps behind them, closing in. Heavy, cruel— pounding ever so closer to their location. Rita was shaking at this point, knowing that she was about to have to face the rest of this world alone. Trembling hands traced over the old man’s face, and she waited until he drew his last breath before even making a move.

She didn’t want him to die alone. It wasn’t much, but she wanted her face to be the last thing he saw. If she were better with words, she would’ve told him many things.

About how she’d never had a better time than when they all traveled together. About how she truly did forgive him for everything, and how she’d come to love him the way she would’ve loved her own father.

About how he was one of the best friends she’d ever had.

When he drew his last breath, she gently moved his body and stood up.

And then she ran, as fast as she could, doing her best to run away from those who had taken so much pleasure in chasing them down.

Because she knew he had wanted her to survive, and to stay and fight would’ve been foolish. She wouldn’t let Raven’s death be in vain.

Rita had to go on living, even if her life was going to be significantly more empty without Raven by her side.
