“I could use a very hot girl giving me a massage right about now.” River sighed as she plopped in the open bar seat. “My arms, my shoulders, hell, my back...everything’s like...tense and sore and-” she stretched in her seat, “shit.” Her past couple of shifts had been long and stressful ones and her exhaustion was evident in her voice. “Can I crash with you tonight? One of my roommates is bringing a guy home and I’m fairly confident they’ll be going at it all night and I could just use some quiet.” Looks like she could use a lot of things, actually.

“To each their own,” River smiled, welcoming Mila to her table. “What’s up with SIX? I know all shows are demanding, but why is this one the most?” She downed the last of her whiskey before leaning back in her seat. “I honestly don’t know much about the whole broadway scene in general...”

“Oh my god,” Fallon squealed, sliding up next to the other person. “My manager just sent me the proofs for my shoot in Orlando. They won’t tell me which one they’re doing for the cover itself, but they came out so good.”

“Jesus” River jumped as Fallon slid next to her. “Talk about scaring the shit out of someone,” she muttered. “Well that’s exciting. Can I see them? Or am I supposed to wait in suspense?”

She grew up in the foster system but was never adopted. Pretty much just grew out of the system.

She lives with three of her friends/ former foster siblings she met in houses along the way.

Spent a lot of time outdoors and climbing things and somehow decided to become a firefighter because of this

Tacked on her paramedic license when she was 25

She’s only been in one real relationship (dated for nine months. broke up two years ago) and highkey fell madly in love but she keeps that to herself. No one knows her feelings were that deep

Her and the girl she was with ended up breaking things off after River literally almost died on a call trying to save a kid’s stuffed animal

River knew how important a keepsake was/ is and went back into a burning building all for Mr. Snuffles

Her girlfriend thought it was completely irresponsible and reckless and she wasn’t really wrooong? It was kind of a stupid thing to do, but it was too late to take it back. The day after, her girlfriend took all of their things and called things off

As any person does, she drowned her sorrows and threw herself into her work. It paid off, as she made a name for herself and eventually she began to feel whole again
