Isaac had been wandering around the random house party he had been dragged to for almost an hour now and after losing his only friend there he was going to have to make some more or get drunk enough to wanna sleep with one of these losers. After turning the corner of the hallway to get another drink he stopped immediately. Spotting River and internally struggling with a decision to either bail or face his nerdy little demons.
He took a deep breath and walked further into the room. Pretending not to notice the other frat boy as he reached for the bottle of vodka on the counter. Hoping he could keep himself from looking up at his drunken mistake.
the last thing river had wanted was to attend another party and pretend to have a good time. he absolutely hated these things. he loathed having to mingle and socialize, he disliked how drunken boys thought they were hot shit all the time and he even detested that he was made to feel so uncomfortable by the whole situation. it just wasn’t his thing, end of story. however, he may have been the only one to feel that way. the crowd tonight seemed to be particularly full of those hot shit fraternity boys. as if on queue he caught sight of one of the worst one’s he’d happened to meet in a long time. it wasn’t even that river thought lowly of the male, just his actions that proved him to be just like all the others. he wasn’t going to say anything to isaac but as he got closer, river couldn’t help himself. “vodka? how -- my first mixed drink of you.” he rolled his eyes as he sipped from his own cup.
