mike was acting more gay than will this season!!! mike was the one who was acting awkward at the airport, he was the one who rejected the hug. the first thing he asked will was about the painting he was holding bc he knew will made it for someone he liked. he was the one who got mad at will for “lying” to him for a whole year. he noticed that will was rolling his eyes and pointed it out. will just wanted letters from his best friend and mike just had to point out that eleven is his girlfriend and him and will are just friends FRIENDS. mike didn’t deny it when eleven asked if he didn’t love her anymore instead he started acting defensive. mike threw her letter in the trash bin. mike raises his eyebrow when will told him that he saved him back in s2. mike kept giving flirty looks to will. mike told will that hawkins wasn’t the same without him and he felt like he lost him. he apologized for worrying to much about his girlfriend. mike looks at will with the biggest heart-eye smile ever. mike gulps and seems very nervous while telling will that he has no idea what’s gonna happen next. he told will it’s better when they’re together as a team. mike looks up at will when he thinks he’s not looking. he noticed that he was actually looking at him and he does the triple take. mike nods his head in agreement when will said that his girlfriend might not like the truth. mike keeps acting nervous around will. mike has the biggest smile when will shows him his painting and his smile fades away when will says that it was elevens idea. mike looks lovingly at will, he glances at his lips. mike keeps staring at the painting for the rest of the scene. every chance he gets he always looks at will for reassurance. mike acts shy around will yet again. mike holds onto will’s shoulder for a gay amount of time. mike stands by will’s side in a field of flowers, he could have followed his girlfriend but he stayed by his side till the end.
