Alot of ppl in the SJM fandom personally judge you on your opinions on her characters or ships and it is so odd to me. “If you like x,y and z you must have never been through x,y and x or that says a lot about you in real life blah blah blah… your a x,y,z supporter” like friends were talking fake fairy’s in a magical world. Relax. What I’m saying about these fictional characters in this fake world means absolutely nothing in the real world.

I see you post about red rising a lot too which series do you think is better red rising or acotar? You are making me want to read red rising!

Hands down Red Rising. As much as I love Acotar it’s not even in the same playing field as Red Rising. Red Rising is a literal masterpiece IMO.

I put red rising off for so long bc I didn’t think ide like it and it seemed blah to me but I was wrong. So wrong. I think everyone should read red rising. Pierce Browns female characters are FIERCE and while romance is a subplot the romances are sooooooooo good. It’s action packed and honestly has something for everyone.

✨Not everyone in the Acotar fandom is going to get exactly what they want …✨

In this fandom I see more theories based off of what people want to happen rather then what actually IS happening. They refuse to accept canon and they come up with all these elaborate theories to discredit in favor of whatever opinion/theory they have and then people get super disappointed when they don’t happen and say the books suck. We saw this happen already with Hofas. So I want to give my thoughts on things and I’ll use some of my own opinions/theories as a example.

We all know I’m a huge Tamlin fan. For the longest time I really thought we were going to get a Tamlin pov. I’ve said it in many videos. HOWEVER. On CHD while SJM did give us some nuance and background to Tamlins character I think it was pretty clear we are not getting a Tamlin pov lol. Do I think it’s possible we may get a arc for him as a small subplot in Lucien’s pov? Yes and I hope we do but I’m not holding my breath. It is what it is and sometimes this is how the cookie crumbles. The author is telling the story THEY want not the story we want for everyone .Does this ruin the entire series for me? No lol. There are many other characters I love.

Another point to drive this home… before HOFAS my most hated SJM ship ever and I mean ever was Ruhn and Day. I LOATHED that pairing. Didn’t even want to read her pov and was sooooo bummed for Ruhn BUT even though I hated the pairing I knew and saw that’s where the canon text was going. I knew they were going to be mates and I didn’t deny it. It didn’t stop me from reading HOFAS and I actually ended up loving HOFAS.(I will say though after reading HOFAS I ended up LOVING Ruhn and day and lidias character.)

We see this still happening in the fandom today. The books and the author has confirmed multiple times Bryce & Hunt, Cassian & Nesta are true mates. Bryce and hunt are mates, got married, ended hofas happily in love and talking about having children. Cassian & Nesta had their mating ceremony, they are in love, even in hofas they are still together and in love and yet people (an alarming amount of ppl) still think these couples are not endgame and SJM is lying about everything.

To this day in every single ship video I made I ALWAYS ALWAYS say while yes I believe Elriel/Vassien is endgame SJM is going to take it whatever way she wants. If by some chance Elriel doesn’t happen and Elucien does as much as I don’t ship them I am still going to read their book and go into it w a open mind because I love the characters individually. & I’ll tell ya this… if by the end of this four part multi book arc if elucien is endgame your not going to see me go around and say but wait! There is still a chance for elriel and SJM is lying. I will just accept my ship didn’t happen and move on lol.

I see so many people say if elriel happens they are done with the series and it’s terrible writing blah blah. They have so strongly believed their own theories that if it doesn’t happen the way they want it to even if Lucien still gets a true happy ending w Vassa they will hate on the book and say it’s bad writing. (to be fair we could say the same to some elriels who say they will stop the series if elucien ends up together but in all honesty tho it’s few and far inbetween who say this we see ALOT more gwynriels shippers say they will stop the series if it’s elriel).

There is nothing wrong with having a bunch of different theories. The fandom is the place to clown around and theorize whatever you want… I have some far fetched theories too! BUT i admit they are far fetched. I don’t go around attacking ppl who don’t agree w my far fetched theories and I don’t pin all my acotar hopes on my far fetched theories.We all like different characters and ships but when it gets to the point you are blatantly denying canon and saying the author is lying about everything even when the books back up what she is saying I feel this fandom really sets itself up for disappointment. No one can scream bad writing if they don’t even read the book. Just because you don’t get your way for every character or ship doesn’t suddenly make someone a bad writer over all.

Gwynriel’s don’t have to resort to third party places that know nothing of the next 3 books and Elriel’s are pathetic thinking they mean Elaine when the PUBLISHING company made it clear the Valkyrie’s are next. Sjm spoke about them in the past and said they have dark journey’s to face beyond and the romance books they read are a hint to that. Gwyn and Azriel are endgame. Elriel’s need to learn to cope.

This is some bold talk when there has been no promo or merch for your ship at all …Especially when the influencers who went to the acotar series event called yalls theories out directly and said none of it was clues for the next book. But hey believe what ya want🤷🏻‍♀️

So if this is supposed to be a hint to Gwyn and Azriel next why are they only mentioning Nesta and Cassian in the captions?

Since this is a post about the Valkyries they could have easily mentioned them all by name or cassian AND azriel but they didn’t. They mentioned events from Acosf. Why was there nothing there at the event for Azriel?

Do you think that the Brazilian Gwynriels on twitter who claim to have seen confirmation with their own eyes actually have something? They keep on saying how acotar 6 is elain and azriel breaking things off and Acotar 7 is where Gwynriel and Elucien start off. One of them even said that they were upset at what they had seen but they know they'll be laughing last

The gwynriels have been saying they have had “insider info” for two years. Last year during acoten I received so many anons saying gwynriel was going to be confirmed during acoten and we got nothing. They said the same thing this May and we got nothing.

So no I don’t believe anyone on either side has any insider information. The people who do/may have insider information aren’t blabbing about it on the internet as they are under iron clad NDAs lol.

Imagine if that happens though? What a shame for gwynriel in the end anyway. Azriel still choosing Elain over gwyn and only going for Gwyn after.😬

I have gotten so many anons about this so I’ll address all this here and explain the key differences.

1)It’s not JUST Alex and Ani. It’s that all the promo from major book retailers for the acotar 6 parties and book release that have come out so far is elain and Azriel coded. Black, pink, shadowy, flowery ect. It’s all the articles from reputable sources and some from people who even spent time w SJM during the HOFAS press push all mention Elriel. Then you had the new German covers drop and Alex and ani collection drop and both featured just the three brother and the three sisters. Mind you SJM collaborated w Alex and ani on those pieces. If this is all random why is at all seemingly elain and azriel coded? Also there is actually things for elain and azriel with the Alex and ani collection. There was nothing for Azriel at all at this Pilates influencer event. There has been no promo or merch drop that had things for Azriel and Gwyn. Or just the Valkyries and just the bat boys.

2)There was no promo or reference to Acotar to 6 at this event. The influencers who were there literally said they were given no information about acotar 6. They literally came out and directly responded to the gwynriels confirmed theories going around after that event and because of that event and debunked that that event meant anything for gwynriel. Like my friends they screenshotted those videos, they commented directly to some of you guys on some of your videos. There was nothing acotar 6 anything at that event. Look at all the photos.And again this was a Valkyrie themed Acotar influencer event. There was absolutely nothing about azriel there. With the German cover and Alex and ani there was stuff for elain and azriel as characters. This event was strictly showcasing the Valkeyries. The last book was Nestas book, she started the Valkyries lol the Valkyries were a huge part of the most recent acotar book. It makes sense to do something themed around them.

3) I have literally been saying all along even w all the elriel coded things whatever ya wanna call out It is still not confirmation of anything and anything can happen. I do find it very interesting that everything so far seems to point to elain and azriel and has their imagery but it is not confirmation until it’s in the books or SJM/Bb confirms pov/endgames.

4) I have also literally said publicly many times since this weekend that while I don’t think it means anything for acotar 6 I can see why the gwynriels got excited. I got excited when Bloomsbury did a acotar themed influencer event with the Spring Court.

At the end of the day we all get it. There has been no news on the new book so we are all looking for crumbs in anything that comes out on both sides. However it was directly addressed from the people who went to this event that none of that stuff or things they posted was any clue for anything. Even with these influencers directly calling out the gwynriel confirmed theories from this event and saying hey no this wasn’t a clue for anything you guys are STILL trying to say nope! It was for acotar 6 and proves that the Valkyries are next! Believe what you want obviously but when people who were actually there say hey this wasn’t that and you all go but but yes it was…idk what to tell yall lol.
